Dude! I was just looking up some stuff online and I ran across this bit of info:
Xenosaga Episode III: Also Sprach Zarathustra
Is scheduled to come out on 8/31/2006! The same day as Disgaea 2! And I would guess this date to be official too, since I found it at EBgames.com, under the product description...
I bet they won't make it though. When has any of the games I like come out on its original release date? Never.
Oh well, Final Fantasy XII is coming out on 10/31/2006 (Halloween!) at least. *sniff* The last Final Fantasy I'll get for awhile, because there's no way I'm getting a PS3 until the price comes WAY down.

Oh my moneys are going to be in trouble. I'm already waiting for Sukoden V to go on the used rack. Now Disgaea 2, Xenosaga III, and Final Fantasy XII! Oh man, so many games - so little time.

Yeah...I think the second KOS-MOS is called 'T-ELOS', and she's a 'bad guy' or something...or at least something similar is mentioned in some of the ads I saw...And I haven't been in the Xenosaga fics lately, but I recall some people were writing a 'T-ELOS' into some fics already...Yeah I thought there were going to be like six games as well, bringing it back around to meet or even pass Xenogears's timeline...well, we'll hope that the 'end of series' thing is wrong. ^_^

Google update! I googled it (Xenosaga) and came up with this...
1) All three episodes of the main Xenosaga trilogy are named after the books of Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche. Several Nietzschean concepts and references appear throughout the series.
~Yup, sadly it says trilogy~
2) Released on mobile phones in Japan, this Xenosaga side-story is set 100 years prior to the start of Episode I and explores the past of the cyborg character Ziggy when he was a human named Jan Sauer and working for the Galaxy Federation's counter-terrorism task force.
~Only in Japan! I sure wish they would send over more to the US...~
3) An anime based on Xenosaga, titled Xenosaga: The Animation, premiered on TV Asahi in Japan on January 5, 2005. The anime itself follows the story of Xenosaga closely, albeit removing several scenes and adding others.
~I got this! It's dubbed but good. It is not like the game - I like the game's story much better but it's good all the same~
4) In 2004, an official Japanese manga adaptation for the series was written by Atsushi Baba and published by Zero Sum Comics. As of 2006, Baba has finished development of Episode I's adaptation and is currently working on Episode II. It is believed that the manga will focus more closely on character development rather than scientific, religious jargon and mysterious shadow games much like with the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga.
~I wanna read it! I love manga, but this isn't out in the US. So sad.~
5) A Japanese-only web series started by Monolith designed to bridge the one year story gap between Episode II and Episode III, or appropriately between Xenosaga I&II and Episode III.

Gotta love Wikipedia. It's where I got a lot of my info when I was trying to draw that Flonne pic for Vaudevillain, too... And other video games. Though interestingly enough, I never looked up Xenosaga or Star Ocean III there...I should do that, just to see what they've got. ^_^
Dratted Japan, getting everything... hmm...under the number (1) thing you added...yes, it says 'trilogy', but it also says 'main', which implies there's more stuff outside the trilogy... I shall keep my hope alive. ^_^

Boy, Cross looked really...cross (
Oohh...I SO want to beat up Cross, even if it's just a kick-battle! But I can't seem to catch him anywhere! I know where his room in the castle is, but I never seem to catch him inside of it...So if you know some place and/or time when I can at least kick-fight him, that would be great, if you're reluctant to 'spoil' what happens with Cross.
And I've just got to add -- poor Dynas. He's messed up no matter which path we take, isn't he? And it's always Cross's fault. And Larks lets him get away with it! You know, I have this theory that Larks himself might have algandars...he acts so like Zane at some points...

There's got to be something I missed; some opportunity to kick Cross that I didn't see because I wasn't at the right place at the right time...I wish the players guide had schedules for non-playable characters like Cross, too, and not just stats. Urgh. Well, I'll go look it up again.
It's odd how similar Cross is to Albel, and yet, I loathe Cross and I empathize with Albel. Hmm...
