After 5-6 years I am still totally fascinated with Mathieu Bellamonts character to the point that I look for all the fan-created content of him that I can find, and that constantly. It's great that he hasn't been totally forgotten yet.
PS : Totally hoping u will continue the fic.
PSPS : They should really mention Mattie again in TES 6 if it ever comes out

That's totally fine! And same here. It's so hard to come by content about him so it's a treat when something new pops up. I still think they should've made him a spectral assassin like Lucien in Skyrim, but obtain him if you destroy the DB instead. Guess he just wasn't popular enough. 
I'll definitely continue, too. Just waiting a while 'till I post the next chapter.

God I swear I'm waiting for ages now that they make a LEGENDS card for him. I don't play the game but come on, even Ungolim gets one! (no offense Ungolim I love you but you didn't do that much in the canon DB Oblivion questline) And atleast they mentioned him in Skyrim twice, so they haven't forgotten him. Wes Johnson made a Mathieu Bellamont joke this year in May, so he still knows .
My hopes are there, but I'm sure TES6 won't even mention him. (If I'm not dead til' it comes out)
Guess he will live on in my heart. xP

Todd will release Skyrim for the toilet before TES6 is announced.
But yeah, it would've made sense to put him in with the "Fall of the Dark Brotherhood" cards, but hey, they haven't even made Martin Septim or Mankar Camoran a card yet either! So who knows? I don't play the game either; I just love seeing new art for old characters.
