Oh cool Yeah I lived in Dartmouth for 2 years while in college, but I am from Truro and live here again now. Yeah it's not often we Maritimers run into each other on here I think I've only met like one other lolΒ

I am in Truro too!Β Now this really is crazy. I'm in Bible Hill.
How cool that you met your boyfriend on here, and he's from NY?
I was reading your story.
I have a photo of a NYC cab on here, from when I was at JKK Airport.Β Β

Oh wow, it's crazy that you're in Bible Hill now. Yeah we met on here, we have yet to meet in person, we're just waiting on his passport so hopefully soon, in the next month or so if we're lucky
Oh nice, I have not left Canada yet so hopefully if this all works out I can go to Massachusetts and New York in September to be with him and meet his family/friends he just wants to come here first lol

I hope he gets his Passport soon.
My Uncle lives in Wayland Massachusetts, about 15 minutes outside Boston - it's really beautiful there.
I didn't get to spend any real time in NYC, I was just passing through on the way to Oklahoma and got a few shots at the Airport.
So are you planning on moving to the States eventually?
If so, it's good he comes here first, and spend some time together.
I hope it all works out - and I still can't believe I met a fellow Scotian on here - and one that lives in the same town as me.
Very cool!

Thanks, we hope so too lol this waiting sucks Β
Ah nice, yeah my boyfriend lives in New York right now (he was born and raised there) but once he gets his passport, he's going to move to Massachusetts to live with family before coming to see me. It's cool that you got to see it though, even if you were just passing through lol. Apparently Massachusetts is a lot like Nova Scotia.Β
Well, if this works out, we'll have to talk about where to move. If he decides he likes it here, he could move here. Or I could end up moving there. Plus we'll have to get into a routine of visiting each other before we decide to live together don't want to rush things, especially in an LDR.
Thanks and yeah it's very cool that we live in the same town, kind of strange lol, like I said I think other than my friends I have maybe a couple watchers from Canada but I don't really talk to them Β

Sorry, I've been sick and not on here for a couple of days.
I am new here and hardly have any watchers, lol.
I can't draw, so pretty much only postΒ photography.
It's boring to a lot of people because it's not a creative as actual drawings and such - but I can't even figure out how to use that art thing in here, hahaha.Β I tried to do a skeleton but the program was having issues saving it.Β Maybe I will try again.
Just to let you know - there's a lot of 'red tape' and hassle moving to the States.Β The more time you spend together in 'real life' the better, as you will have to answer a bunch of crazy questions about each other's likes, etc., - could even be about where scars are, what they eat for breakfast, what side of the bed they sleep on - it's crazy.
The Fiancee Visa is about the only way to get in, and you have exactly three months to marry - if that's what your intentions are.
If not, visit each other a lot until you're sure.
I was engaged to a guy in Oklahoma - and they treat foreigners (even Canadians) like they are third world citizens trying to get into their country.Β Your boyfriend may not even know this - I learned the hard way.
Now for the good news - whatever you decide, as long as you love each other, it will all be worth it in the end.
Please keep in touch - your story and mine are so similar.
I wish you and your boyfriend all the happiness in the world.

Hey it's ok, being sick sucks Β
Lol we all gotta start somewhere, my bf was only on here for about a month before he randomly came across my photo and left the first comment that started all of this. xD
Yeah, photography is boring to a lot of people, it seems like more people are interested in drawing, which I can't do either. But I'll admire good art no matter the form Β
One of my lawyer friends was talking to me about all the crap that we have to go through to move there since she's moved there herself, but from overseas. She pretty much said the same things as you. Of course me and him do want to get married. Maybe not for a couple years, but the thought is there lol.Β
It's crazy how they treat us all like that. You'd think because we're their neighbouring country, things would be different. I'm not sure if it would be any easier for him to move here, or just the same.Β
So you were engaged to a guy from Oklahoma? If you want, you can send me a note and talk to me more that way And thanks I really hope we'll get to meet soon... once we do, there'll be a few days, or maybe a week of me posting photos from his trip on here XDΒ
