You're probably way past boredom by now, but maybe you could try watching an anime? Puella Magi Madoka Magica is really good, if you haven't watched it yet. Or maybe you could read Homestuck? It's boring in the beginning, but it gets addicting later on

Madoka Magica is a about a girl who discovers a magical cat who offers to give her magical powers and grant a wish of her's. However, Magical girls have to hunt witches, and it's very dangerous. She has to struggle with the decision on whether or not to become a Magical girl and put her own life in danger. It's very sad, but it's very interesting. It also has a spin with time travel and alternate universes, so that's cool

Homestuck is about four kids who play a game. The game ends their world, and they have to play to beat it and win the game. They also meet a group of aliens, who also played the game and ended their own world. I'm not doing it any justice, sorry. But the characters are all amazing, and it's very funny. It also has a lot to to with alternate universe, time travel, paradoxes, and alien cultures. It's breathtaking at times, and has a lot of tear-jerking moments and themes. There are also a lot of pairings that are all really cute, and it's one of the most popular series in the world. I really recommend it, even though it may be hard to read in the beginning. It gets *much* better the further you read, so don't get discouraged!
