Hey, I have a question for you! What program do you use or how do you keep the picture from getting fuzzy as you zoom in because I was looking at your dragon picture, which I absolutely love the details on it, and with my program the picture gets fuzzy after zooming in a few times, or maybe I just need to make my canvas bigger, but if you have any tips on how to keep a digital picture from getting fuzzy when zoomed in on that'd be great!

Hi, there's no trick to it. Β I just use Photoshop (CS5 so it's a bit old) and use a large canvas. Β Normally I rough things in on a small canvas (say about 1024 x 700 or so) but then I res up the canvas to at least HD resolution (1920x1080) when I'm ready to start drawing it 'properly'. Β Sometimes I'll draw at something like 3000+ pixels to make sure I have choices when shrinking it down to submission size.
It sounds like you just need to use more pixels on your canvas to start with. Also make sure to set the max resolution option to 'original size' when submitting to DA otherwise it will default to a lower, standard resolution.
I would say though, getting confident and strong with composition, value structure, form and movement etc are way more important than fine detail - don't be distracted by details until the 'foundations' of your work are strong to begin with.

I've been studying that for a few years now and I just started using photo shop so I was having trouble with making the details look nice (after a few months I'm still learning how to use it hehe) so I was tripping up over that part. Thanks a lot!

Hey there, my name is Joshua Wallace and I was wondering whether you could consider letting me use your dwarf piece for my art Gallery on my website known as Dwarven Uprising. If you like to check out the site the link is [link]

Hey there. I checked out your site, and no - I don't mind you using my Dwarf pic. It's actually a compliment that you would want to. I take it you will put a link in to my deviantart page?

I love your Street Fighter stuff. Probably some of the best there is next to Udon's stuff. Keep the Marvel stuff coming too. Hulk looks amazing.
