Hello :3 My name is Ashley, or I go by Cupcakemassacrebear in the Cosplay world. ^-^ I'm 26 years old. I graduated high school back in 2008 and I have been playing the violin since I was 16. I am a huge anime nerd and I love to cosplay. I have been cosplaying since August 2007. I believe that cosplay is much more than just a hobby to me anymore but more as a part of me and it makes me unique out of my circle of friends.My most important person in the whole wide world is my gf Her and I have been cosplaying together since September 2008. We are cosplaying buddies and both partners and best friends in the real world. :D

I have done the same with my art,back in the day when I did that picture it was when all I had was a crappy camera,and paper and crayola colored pencils
I am actually kinda surprised to see you're actually still on DA lol because all the cosplayers I know abandoned DA and went to facebook due to its popularity with cosplayers.

hahaha I was for a while. I did abandon this website. But I am trying to get back on here since still uses the site. Plus I feel like I get more noticed on here than IG(where I frequent now) or facebook. But it does feel nice to pop on here every now and then to add stuff to the cosplay page. Yeah I would love to go to another con somewhere else since all the cons in Vegas are just falling apart,we lost like 3 anime cons,we only have 1 so far now and the rest are just gaming and comic conventions.

The last local con I went to was a big mess and the hotel was just a really bad place for it to be held but it was fine last year,idk what happened this year but the hotel security was really rude to everyone (they even took away my prop just because it was wood but the con said it was acceptable but the hotel security disagreed therefore a big argument went on between the con staff and hotel staff) and the panels and stuff were unorganized really badly and they didn't let anyone watch the masquerade unless they had VIP passes which I think was really unfair and it had nothing to do with room capacity because they've had a bigger con there before with more people and nothing like that ever happened.
The con volunteers were just really aggressive about people standing in hallways for just a second,I understand it was because they didn't want to get in trouble for fire hazards but I don't think it would have been a problem if it was only for a second and they kicked everyone out of the hotel lobby because they said we were a "fire hazard" when in previous years we always hung out in the lobby and nothing like that ever happened.It was too hot outside and there was just no places to sit down besides outside in the sun and the heat (this took place on Labor Day Weekend in Las Vegas Nevada,its got here)Β
This con was nothing but a trainwreck so yeah a lot of people hated it and never want to come back to it and looks like that's whats going to happen because the con is most likely not happening again because their website is gone and the facebook page is inactive so looks like this con fell from grace.
We used to have another con called Anime Vegas that went from 2004 until 2013.The last year it was held it was in a small hotel and it was a bit of a mess and just too small,it wasn't a very good convention because they were having problems that year trying to get a venue,they said the first one they tried to get didn't even accept them so they had to postpone the date from Labor day weekend to November which threw a lot of people off because they reserved tickets and some were coming from out of town and couldn't get their weekend rescheduled.Β
That was just a mess and after the con there was never another update again.The con was abandoned and it just fell off the map.
One more con also fell off the map called Animegacon (I personally never went to the con because i heard it sucked but some people still enjoyed it) and it also just disappeared.
All these anime cons are just well dying for who knows why,some say it was because of the hotels they were held that ruined the convention or the staff group just quit.
