It's nice to find folks on dA who are sincerely learning and pushing their own boundaries. I look forward to seeing where your path leads you this year!

I see you're dealing in light colours these days?
I think I prefer it when you' re working with darker colors, like your ''Hulda'' or ''turtle swim'', but still good stuff. Btw your waterdragon was awesome too

Thanks. Well, I went through a small watercolour phase back around November-December last year. Back in the digital space now with the latest contract, and (therefore) a lot denser colours. Going to post up something soon.
Thanks for stopping by!

Okay. Looking forward to seeing those then. Still I'm sure there are things to be learned from phases like that, too
I really liked your Hulda, and would love to see more in that kind of 18 hundreds romantic style, in your modern versions

Thanks, glad you liked that style. I would like to return to that with some personal work... should be done with this latest contract in a month or so and will start playing around again.

Most welcome, it looks like really nice work.
I wish someone would license the game already so we can all play it without 100 hrs of work and 5 different rules versions.
But, like Iroh, I will reflectively sip my tea and consider the benefits I am gaining from not playing Pai Sho. Whatever those benefits are...

Or... create your own rules and teach a friend.

I'm not exactly swamped just a chronic procrastinator and as easily distracted as a concussed kitten. I do usually visit my message center every day and enjoy reading any new comments, and then thinking about how to respond to it...and then I get an idea or I want to check something out, of start feeling peckish. My brain basically goes Squirrel! and before I know it the messages have piled up and i shave off the most recent ones, before going Squirrel! and find the old getting older. And knowing this you'd think i'd have the sense to start at the beginning. I think I must make it a new years resolution

Having just browsed your gallery a bit, I take that as a big compliment!
Character development is something I could (and probably should) work a lot more on. But it's an interesting task... I guess one of the things I really should give more attention is thumbnails
