I saw from your gallery that you are from India, my sister was in a school in India for several years! Β She loved it there!

See how some of the colors looks like it's been painted by a brush?Β In actuality what the artist did was scan a picture of some paint and use photoshop to blend it with another layer that has colors on it.Β In other words, he used the colors from photoshop that he wanted but also used the picture of the real paint to use the "texture" of the paint.
I don't use a TON of textures in my work but if you look at the bridge of this piece:deckboy.deviantart.com/art/Chr⦠you'll notice that the stones aren't just a flat color. I achieved that by taking a picture of some stained paper and combining it with the bridge colors which together give it a feel of rock.
Does that make sense?
You have such nice, high resolution paint images they would make great textures for digital painting.

Yeah it makes perfect sense.Β See if only I had the artists looking to use my work for that, that'd make for a cool collaboration.
I actually have higher resolution scans, but these were a more readily acceptable print size..

Well I suppose you could always offer some as a download or something on here, either free or to pay for.Β Then you could go through and add tag lines to the pictures like "textures photoshop tool" etc, etc. . .Β Then just add a line in the description that tells people they can use it as a texture or something.Β You probably won't get a lot of downloads right away or anything but it is a start.
