Your skill with pencils is truly amazing! But you really need to come up with some solution about those large pieces.

I have the same trouble with some of my larger works, and unfortunately it's a big problem here in Tbilisi to find a drum scanner or a professional photo-reproducing camera.

There's one temporary solution: you could scan them in parts with an A3 scanner and stitch them in Photoshop. This program has a great automatic photomerge, very easy to use and it makes very high quality stitching. Please take a look at this drawing -- it has been scanned on A4 scanner in four parts and stitched together in Photoshop:
