So, I pretty much pair Tahno with almost everyone, although I don't ship him with Asami that much. I like the idea of them becoming friends and Asami showing him how to kick ass like a non-bender. But, I can see why people don't pair him with Asami (because I prefer Tahno/Asami friendship) or with Korra (because it could probably only be a non-hatesex relationship post-bending loss and sadly we don't get to see much of Tahno post-bending loss.) Still, one thing I like about Tahno/Korra is the askhousewifetahno blog on tumblr. It's hilarious. (I like a lot of strange things.)
I did love Korra and Tahno finally getting to fight each other in Pro-bending. That was one of the best Pro-Bending matches and Tahno is such a good snarky sports rival. Also, glad you liked my idea about Equalists bribing the refs. Amon does go to extremes to achieve his goals, so it wouldn't surprise me if he set the Wolfbats up.
I think that a random Equalist, pretending to be a big fan of the Wolfbats, told them that they could cheat because some corporations bet a lot of money on the Wolfbats winning and bribed the refs. Plus, the cheating gets progressively more serious throughout the game, as though they're testing how for they can take it. It could be possible that Tahno, Ming, and Shaozu were intimidated by the fact that they had to face the Avatar and were afraid of losing their title that they've had for three years and so when they found out they could get away with anything, they went ahead and did it.
Maybe you have the feeling that Tenzin pulled a "Mako" because the show goes out of it's way to say that Korra's romantic situation is the same as the one that happened between Pema, Lin, and Tenzin. I'm not sure I completely buy that myself, but whatever.
I'm not sure if Tenzin pulled a "Mako" or not. Tenzin did say that his relationship with Lin wasn't going so well before Pema confessed her feelings, so maybe unlike Mako, Tenzin was not a douche and broke up with Lin before trying to date Pema. And hey, maybe Lin dumped him first because she knew it wasn't going well. All we've really got is speculation.
I have seen ideas about Lin and Tenzin breaking up due to children issues. It is possible because there are a lot of couples in real life who don't have to worry about carrying on their entire race and culture who break up over things like that. After Aang died, Tenzin was the last airbender and I bet both society and he himself put on a lot of pressure to try and have air-babies. It is an interesting idea that makes a lot of sense. I wonder if that kind of pressure will extend to Tenzin's kids, especially if one of them doesn't want children and/or one of them turns out to be gay.
The reason I thought Korra was considering suicide at the cliff was because they had just shown a murder-suicide right before that, which had some parallels to what Korra was going through. They also had a shot of her crying and then one of her tears falling into the water...which wouldn't have happened unless she was standing up and staring directly into the water. Not to mention, Aang says she's at her lowest point and I think the only way that she could be at a lower point than she was right when she lost her bending is if she's contemplating suicide.

yup, i feel the same. the film maker had done their best.
1.the movie managed to make Bella look less like a bitch without highlighting her treating her schoolmates/father like crap part.
2.Alice is very cute in the film.
3. the landscape was shot really beautifully in the film.
4. the 'bad' vampires were kind of cool at first.
5. the anti feminism message isn't so obvious in the film.
still it has a long way to go before the movie becomes a good vampire film.

It's nice that you dislike it. I know one person who dislikes it not on the internet, but many people I know gush over how perfect Edward is. I think my mom, grandma, and dad might hate it on principle because I told them how bad it was and about Edward's tendancy to be an abusive prick who disables his girlfriend's car so she can't see her friends. I read passage from the meadow scene.
I told them to see the movie instead, because at least it has sparkling sound effects! That never fails to make me laugh. The movie is actually better than the books since there's less thesaurus rape and Edward has less random mood swings.
