Yuki Kajiura is my fav! Have you heard the Madlax soundtrack? Fantastic! So is the music she did for My-Hime! She also did a great album called FICTION that include a kick ass reworking of Canta Per Me and Salva Nos [link] Highly recommended

And she's also my favorite character! The thing is, I didn't see all of NOIR, cuz I only have the last 2 volumes of the D.V.D.s, so I don't know much about Chloe, but I fell in love with her design!

Chloe is so awesome! I think she doesn't show up till the third volume (3 out of 6).

DJ Jinnai did a pretty cool remix of Canta Per Me. I'm not a big rap fan, but I like to imagine that Mireille and Kirika are strolling into a rave club to take out the owner and his posse while the unknowing masses dance and the DJ plays [link]

Yuki is amazing and Fiction is such a good album. I think Vanity is my favorite track.

The game is called audiosurf. The song isn't actually a part of the game package. You can insert your own music to create a custom game level.

DJ Jinnai does a lot of cool anime soundtrack remixes. Best one is probably the one he did for Ghost in the Shell [link]

I found out about Yuki Kajiura from watching the NOIR anime. I loved the music and had to pick it up. Started buying more of her albums and checking out anime shows that she had composed for.

How did you happen upon her music?

I was just listening to the My-Hime soundtrack again today. Love the main theme in Mezame and Ensei. Beautiful.

Well, back in the day when Cartoon Network made sense, I was at my aunt's house watching T.V. and I was looking through the cable guide to see what was gonna be on. I saw that .hack//SIGN was gonna come up next and it caught my attention. As I was watching it, the music really stood out to me and paid more attention to the hauntingly beautiful music than the actual show. Weeks passed and I got a hold of the soundtrack. Since then, I would buy the limited editions of the .hack//SIGN series, just so I can get the soundtracks. So soon after, I started to buy the soundtracks composed by Yuki Kajiura, only for the music. I don't know. Maybe I was becoming a music junkie and I didn't really care much for the anime she composed for. I guess it was maybe I knew that I wouldn't find time to watch them.

Heh. Long I know.

I'll have my moments where I'm in a Yuki Kajiura mood and other times I would be in a Yoko Kanno mood.

Also, Ali Project! MY GOD I love their music too!

Anyways. Yeah, Mezame and Ensei are beautiful!
I always get excited whenever I hear she's gonna be releasing new music!
Like how next week, the soundtrack to the anime ''Puella Magi Madoka Magica'' is coming out! And how she's composing music for the Fate/Zero anime!

Don't worry about the long response. It's nice when an actual conversation gets started here.

Yeah, Yoko Kanno rawks hardcore. Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop; classic stuff! But it was Yuki that got me excited about anime music first, and got me more excited about anime in general, which would eventually lead to drawing and stuff.

.hack/SIGN was a pretty good show, but yeah, the music was definitely a standout. Especially since I had already listened to the FICTION album and recognized the music while watching th show.

I have to finish Fate Stay Night before I check out Fate/Zero, but I'm still excited! I didn't know she was doing the music for that. Did she do the music for Fate Stay Night as well?

They say that Fate/Zero is the prequel to Fate/Stay Night. And I don't think she did the music for it either.

As for me, I'm not a big fan of anime, though I'm very knowledgeable about it, but there are exceptions, like NOIR! I can be really picky about certain things.

But now I can admit that over the years, I've became more of a music junkie. That's why I only get the soundtracks performed by both Yuki Kajiura and Yoko Kanno, just for the music. Ali Project too.
Do you know who Ali Project is? They did the opening to NOIR.
I might've mentioned them in my previous response.

Anyways. So yeah, that's all I know about the Fate/Stay Night thing.

Well, if you liked NOIR, then check out Madlax (you probably have already). You might also enjoy El Cazador De La Bruja. Those three shows are technically a trilogy because all three had the same creative team (and all three are about two young female killers).

Oh yeah, Ali Project is great. As is Fiction Junction.

My favorite music besides Yuki and Yoko is probably The Pillows. Nothing like Yuki or Yoko but definitely fun stuff. They did all the music for FLCL (aka Fooly Cooly. If you haven't seen that show yet definitely check it out. It's a bit crazy, but oh so good!)

Yeah. I've seen both MADLAX and El Cazador, but only up to episode 7.
I've read something about the trilogies thing too.

Love their music! AND YES, one of Yuki's bands! Have you heard of Kalafina? They did the theme songs for this one anime called Kara no Kyoukai. Yuki also composed the music for it too!

OMG! I LOVE THE PILLOWS TOO! Ahem.... And I've also seen FLCL. Love Haruko! It IS crazy!

And that's pretty much it. Other than that, I re-watch American Cartoons on youtube whenever I get the chance.

Truth is, I just recently got back into watching anime. I took a break for a while because I was reading unhealthy amounts of manga. And the Reacher novels...I was reading those too.

Kalafina is pretty good! Though I never actually saw the anime itself, but the soundtrack is beautiful! So ambient!

As for me, I haven't watched anime in like 3 years I think. Only recently I've been watching little bits and pieces of it, not full episodes. At times I get bored with watching the whole episode. I don't know, a lot of things bore me nowadays. What's wrong with me???!!! Anyway, I've never heard of the Reacher novels, should check that out too.

The American cartoons I usually watch nowadays are the retro kind and some of the recent ones. Like 90's-early 2000's ones. Specifically old Disney and Looney Tunes shorts, and for the recent, Animaniacs, Ed Edd n Eddy, and Invader Zim(those tend to be overrated on the internet, I've noticed! But I just love them!). Been feeling really nostalgic lately. And I never got a chance to see Avatar! I had cable, but never had time to watch it! Now I don't have cable!

Yeah, the Reacher novels are great if you like crime thriller stuff.

Did you ever see The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya? Brilliant show!

I love the Animaniacs! That and the classic Looney Tunes stuff! Good times!

I also like Batman: The Animated series that came out in the early 90's. Area you familiar with Phineas and Ferb? That's a fun one!
