Honestly..most of my work is inspired through my struggle with depression, initially i began painting to stay alive as i seriously contemplated suicide many times about 4 years back...i take my negative feelings and transmute them into something of beauty that stems from something good in my life...my personal spirituality, my sexuality, my appreciation for color as energy...the process is cleansing for me..painting combined with drumming and dancing has less side effect then anti- depresants...lol.
