# About me

I have been a maker all my life. I have made clothing, costumes and dolls. I also sometimes paint and draw. My art has taken a new and wonderful turn as I discovered up cycling. I didn't have the money to buy the fabric I wanted and had to use what was available. I get to combine two fun things sewing with thrift store shopping. Sometime friends give me clothing that I up cycle too. I can now see that I am on a spiritual journey and up cycling is a part of my values of environmental conscientiousness.
