Wow, I haven't updated this thing in a while. I'm usually more of a video person, but I do love to doodle when I can. Below is a link to my YouTube channel. I think. The angle, drawing a guy in a position that you only have a girl to reference for, the fact that he's not moving and yet has to look as though he was frozen mid-movement, and the guy is hard enough to draw normally.

Yeah, I agree. That was pretty hard. That's why in the "behind the scenes" ( fav.me/d78zojo ) of "Frozen stare", I drew some full-bodies of him.

Actually, the outfit Loki's wearing looks perfect for an idea I've been kicking around in my head about doing either a series of pictures or a series of comics setting the characters of Thor to the music of Frozen. So far it's nothing more than a bunch of music videos I've been putting together and my own imagining of the characters being in the scenes. But Loki's outfit in your costume swap is so much cooler than what I was imagining for the pre-transformation bits.

Oh ? It sounds interesting, I'd totally like to see it when you're done. Will you do 'Let it go' ? The outfit is from the Avengers, I just removed the part of the armor that's on the upper arm and simplified it a bit. [or were you talking about the other outfit ? costume swap... so confusing xD]

For the comics, I was just going to do vignettes with "Do You Want To Build a Snowman" (couldn't figure out how to kill Frigga), "Love Is An Open Door", "Let It Go" (thus the issue my weird mind had picturing Loki in a new outfit before he went glowy and started wearing his signature leather coat and golden horns), and "For the First Time In Forever Reprise." And possibly with some bits and pieces of "For the First Time In Forever." For the music videos, I'm working on a bunch of the songs. "Frozen Heart," "For the First Time in Forever," "Love Is An Open Door," "Let It Go," and "For the First Time In Forever Reprise." And I'm debating adding "Vuelie" to that list.
I was talking about the outfit Loki is wearing in your picture - the white-silver gloves, the black suit, the white-silver tunic, the coat with the red and blue framing the silver cross. It looks really great - perfect for solemn contemplation of upcoming responsibilities, serious coronation processionals, dramatic glove removal, dramatic coat removal, etc.

Who's Jin?
I'm not sure if/when I'll get the comics done, but each project I finish I will upload here. And when I finish my Loki/Frozen music videos, I'll post a journal with the links to each video.

Jin is a character from the game seriesΒ BlazBlue, [the one with Loki's outfit and the blonde hair] he's the principal character's little brother, he's like the anti-hero of the game, and his Nox Nyctores [one of the type of weapon in the game] Yukianesa allows him to freeze his opponent. That's why I assimilated him to Loki.
