For your 3/4 views, hands and proportions it's the same. Mistakes remain for both styles, honest.
Look at Naruto or Death Note (especially DN) the proportions ARE realistic and the face is largely based on realism but with bigger eyes and simplified nose and mouth.
But their location and general shape is the same.
