Up till now I've been using photoshop only, but I think im gonna move on to painter as well. And illustration would be a good choice. I was studying illustration myself before I went to the game academy.

oh and another thing, how do you create such beautiful landscapes with photoshop ?! do you follow a technique or a set of rules ive tried doing one in photoshop but failed =/ then again i dont fully know how photoshop works

knowing tools and creating your own workflow is very important. I've been doing this for more then a year now so you get accustomed to painting. It's not a particular set of rules or tricks, it's just painting. How any painter would create his images I suppose.

Well put, i guess im trying to ask how did you start, cause the only paintings ive done are with acrylic but if you can you know give me some assignments that will get me accustomed to painting like that, idk
