Aww, actually I have stopped watching and reading anime and manga for a long time already after I got hooked watching puppet drama. The storyline in the show is too addictive and insanely exciting to the point that I have completely dropped watching other shows. It's just that there are some elements of excitement that anime and manga can't really produce compared to puppet shows like the puppet sword fight video which I commented in my journal before. >_<

Yeah, I've stopped watching and reading Keroro for a while now as well. I think the series is dying inside my heart (despite my affection towards Fuyuki) mainly because it doesn't get as much love as it once did. Keroro's english publisher, TokyoPop, has gone bankrupt with nobody to pick up nor translate the more recent volumes. Funimation stopped dubbing Keroro around half-way in Season 2 (which each season is divided into two for some reason). Most people hardly talk about Keroro anymore, and I'm starting to have my doubts, while in deep thought, about Keroro losing it's charm overtime. I still like the series, but it's not as great as it used to be.

I guess everyone moves on to new things but I think some people will still remember what they used to watch when they feel nostalgic. I used to love Keroro too because the show reminded me of my favorite childhood anime. As the episodes get too long, I kind of dropped off due to my hectic lifestyle. I find myself not having enough energy to keep up. Now, I just look for shows that doesn't necessarily have long episodes but have compact and interesting storyline. I suppose that's how I ended up looking at puppet shows these days.

Yeah, I feel the same way about Keroro (except I didn't watch it until I was in college around 2010, I believe). The show used to have some potential, until it slipped away when the writers stopped caring about the overall story and trying too hard to write comedy in later episodes. I did like a few ideas they had in those later season (like Kero Zero and Kiko Katoyama), but doesn't hold the torch like the first two seasons did. Goes to show that Keroro isn't one of those animes that wasn't meant to be a long running series.

Ah, I see. I've been under a mix baggage of good and bad kind of busy. Lately, I try to keep myself relaxed by drawing short comics based on puppet show that I love. I haven't gotten the time to draw my own comics due to minor health problems. How about you? I hope you're doing good.

I'm doing okay, stressing out over money and paying bills but making just enough to cover things. We have some problems with nasty bugs in our house that freak me out so I've been trying to stay busy drawing too (also not drawing much of my own stuff at the moment).
