You know, nobody's ever asked me this (that I can recall) and coming up with an answer is tough because I don't really have one style and I'm kind of all over the place with my influences and how I draw.

Definitely Eisner, although more so in recent years.  Frazetta, Shirow, Jordi Bernet, Alex Toth, and Eric Powell would be some of the comic guys.  At the same time, I also like the fluidity and grace of old school Disney art (when they still did 2D) and the dynamism and crazy exaggerated sense of motion in a lot of anime and manga.

I also really, really love the work of Peter de Seve and his stuff influenced me a lot in college.  I'm sure I'm forgetting others that should be mentioned.

Thanks!  Normally, that's the last thing an artist wants to hear (or read) since it means there's been no improvement, but I thought about it and realized how much FASTER I am now.  The old pieces probably took 10 times as long to complete and because a lot of them were personal pieces with no deadlines, I could sit and noodle them forever.

I would like to use them actually, but not only as submissions for the group. Say do you have backgroundless png. versions of them maybe?

For almost all of the WL characters already. And since this summer I have a project ongoing to get bg-less illustrations of game characters, extra made for these articles ongoing. The artworks are featured in the articles, with an description by me and of course full credits / links to the artists. My site is a completely uncommercial project but I try to have especially art there for the not so famous characters.
