Hey, all good dude(tte)! How long does a single piece usually take, on average? I've noticed with 3D art it's usually a lot more time-consuming to produce something of high quality compared to digital art and more traditional 2D art.

The length of time it takes generally depends upon the size of the piece, but another factor is whether said piece has huge swathes of the same colour or not. A pattern with lots of stand alone stitches in different colours can take longer and is more fiddly than stitching continuously in one colour. It also depends on my own motivation, and what else I need to do with my time. At the moment I have a further 6 Pokemon cross stitches that I've finished and are waiting to be uploaded to dA. That gives me a comfortable window to continue stitching or take a break. In a very good mood, I can do perhaps 2 medium sized Pokemon in a week. More if its smaller - like a first evolution. As for non Pokemons, I have 2 big projects on the go and one medium sized project. I have too much to stitch! lol
