But Beast in Black actually has power-metal tunes, that "Sweet True Lies" is the only odd apple in their bunch.
I'm stlil looking for other metal bands that goes like H.I.M., Entwine, The 69 Eyes-esque, but for now this is the best I got.

Erdling They're a pretty cool German band I found (I found that listening to German music is a great way to learn to better understand German, rather than just reading and writing it). German metal is super underrated, and I think you might be able to find more of what you're looking for if you try looking there, too. ^^
Blutengel if you've not heard of them, they're also a German band, who I think you'd like (they have a similar feel to the 69 eyes imo). They have English songs as well: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Xsn_2…

SCHWARZER ENGEL One last German band to round it off. ^^
SKYND While not really traditional metal, I think you'll like them or at least appreciate the concepts behind their songs. A majority of them are based on notorious murders/murderers and their videos are pretty cool.
Blackbriar I relcuntly recommend them. While I like them, they maybe a little on the light side for what you're looking for.
