oh thank you for the fave. I do hope that others use it or change it up to make it their own and get on the green band wagon. IT might not save the planet but it will help it a little bit.

It's not major painful. Has the possibility of becoming so, but the rx and compresses are working to keep it just kind of bothersome. I forget if I already told you. I had surgery on this same eye when I was 4. I always wondered what it was. Now I know. Same thing, only that one was on the lower lid.
It was a God-incidence that I found a girl who written about her experiences with them, and doctors concerning them. I was going to let them cut on it. I learned that I can wait it out longer without doing any damage. Give it a chance to resolve, actually, DISOLVE basically, through hot compresses. Like getting butter to melt so it can drain away.
I'm bad about taking care of myself. Got up at 5:00 PM today. First good stretch of sleep in a while. But now made the backwards pattern complete. But God was so good to me. I had a great!!! time with Him. He lifted the self-condemnation and discouragement completely.
I might try to write about it here. Now I understand why I delayed on the journal you were interested in having me send out, from what we had talked about. What I learned today rounds it out better, so it isn't so much about "SELF-HELP". Steps are the same, but I have a better handle on where the power does and DOES NOT come from for these kinds of changes.
I already knew that, but so easy to forget, in subtle ways. And it so IMPORTANT to remember it with absolute clarity. Thank you my precious friend for your prayers.
Jesus purchased my freedom and forgave my sins. I feel much more positive about my ability to fight this thing, and WIN! Mostly refering to my unhealthy habits. I have the abdomen, blah blah scan on Monday. It will be good to get some idea of what is going on there.
How's all the ladies at your house? And your one precious GUY?

Hello there family business.
Cute and creative icon; looks really great for that format.
I'm tired too, and I have nothing going on compared to what all is hitting at your house. You are in my prayers.

Go Betty Green go!
These were some of the hundreds of gonna do ideas I had, which turned me into a compulsive hoarder. I didn't see my furniture for about 2 or 3 years because it was buried under all the treasures I uncovered and stored, with notebooks full of sketches and ideas for what amazing things they could become.
As usual, you are actually getting out there, making it, and marketing!! BIG w00t!

awe!!! Thanks so much. We could do amazing things together, making and selling our arts, if we were closer Maybe God will give you an administrative marketing artists friend, to team up with! I will pray. God gave me a friend who has a boutique thrift shop and I can take stuff for cheap or nothing then just give her some cash when I sell it.
Thanks so much for your support and for watching me. I just painted a pair of shoes last night. I want to do a few more and then get them up. When I get my Etsy store looking good , maybe you could help me promote with a journal?
Love

LOVE to! That is, help promote...
My Mom has to be at the hospital in about 4 hours, surgery at 7:30.
I forget if I gave you the details. I'll note you.
I can't wait to see how this goes for you. I collected all kinds of things to paint on, and still have a few pieces that hadn't yet been driven from my house.
Now, I think I would just make things for myself out of what is around here. I read that if you take fingernail polish over patent leather, it prepares the surface to hold the paint.
Are you using any special primer, prep or paint supplies? I might want to paint some of the suitcases I am using for my stamps and other art supplies. I am stacking them, and they are so handy for organizing. And, they may work nicely for selecting one to take with,
... or simply pull just that one for certain types of projects.
Maybe part of those organizational angels I've prayed for? I'm still working out the sorting part.
PANTENT LEATHER :]
...and other creative ventures.

That would be great to paint on some luggage. I just upcycled a pair of shoes I think they came out cute. I'll post em soon.
I prime with flat clear varnish spray. Paint with Golden light/thin paints (acrylic) and seal them with 3-4 layers of varnish. I will be using acrylic ink paint on the the pleather ones. Thats also what I used on the shoes.
Fingernail polish is an acrylic paint....almost like the acrylic inks

Oh yeah! Regarding the polish.
I meant to say REMOVER, I think with acetone? I've read so many different people's ideas, in books, about this, that it overwhelmed me. My solution was always to go shopping for MORE stuff!!!!! Not anymore. I'm so grateful to Jesus for this progress.
I would sit around being terrified of the mounds of things with wonderful potential, like stage fright or writers block. I was so good at finding cool stuff, which was fun and exciting, so I would run to that to relieve the fear -- which was, in a way, being created by all the stuff in the first place.
I also used to say I didn't get writers block, because I am constantly having my brain over-run with new ideas. I'm just now realizing that the flood of new ideas is a lot of what keeps me immobilized. Feeling afraid and needing to make decisions, choices on WHICH of my wonderful ideas to actually get up and try. And what if I failed, or messed it up...PERFECTIONISM, pulling a load depression along with it.
Now, as I think about it, I couldn't get to the trying part, which IS a kind of block. And keeping my mind open and looking at or for new ideas was really entangling me, making the choosing part impossible, until the last minute arrived. Then I'd go with no sleep and just dive into whatever was right in front of me, not necessarily the best idea I'd had.
I'm glad you reminded me about the fingernail polish. I once faved something that was a painting all in fp. Would never have guessed, but the artist explained in the comments. It was very striking.

Wow...I have the same thing as you....a flood of ideas. Sometimes its overwhelming. I sit still and thankful that though I have limits, God does not!!!! the Lord!
Its probably a good thing that I do have limits or my pride would be huge and in control. So I am humbled when I cant do all the things I "want" to do Thank you God. This is the scripture I draw life from when faced with this......
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15
Thank you Jesus! Love you Mel!
