Definitely! I find it fun as well!
hell I even got sony vegas to animate and such!
( tho I want to get a drawing tablet to hook up to my pc so I can draw on that instead of my iPad so I can try to learn animation programs and make it easier oof )

Don’t get me wrong I can still draw just but the hard way
( which is transferring every image/frame to another computer just to put it together aa )

Sony Vegas is really good, i used to use it to give better effects to my drawings before I got my current program.
(It's an older version though, but still it's pretty bomb lol)
Drawing tablets make everything 10x easier ;w; Mines a cheapy $50 but it's lasted me a few years with no problems. I know that Krita 3.0 is also a pretty good free animation software, idk if it's tablet friendly though

(I wouldn't have the patience for transferring images, rip)

and yeah I am thinking on getting a good one idk if I want to go online order tho because I have big scare of online shopping so oof
But yeah I think I have that downloaded actually lol so we will know when I get it xD

( oh trust me sometimes I have to stop because I get annoyed af )

As long as it's from a verified website buying one online isn't too bad.  Just be careful about buying one from overseas....that's a big hassle ;w;

I've only been on Scratch about once while I was in school (it was required to make an account and post something for one of my class projects)
I never really got a chance to look at the community though, so I don't think i'm the person you're thinking of.  I hope you do get to find them again one day <3
