on Kyoto Philosopher's Walk. is named because the influential 20th century Japanese philosopher and Kyoto University professor Nishida Kitaro used it for daily meditation. It passes a number of temples and shrines such as HΕnen-in, Εtoyo Shrine, and Eikan-dΕ Zenrin-ji. It takes about 30 minutes to complete the walk, although many people spend more time visiting the sights along the way.[link]

Cherry Blossom Dancer. This lady was waiting her turn to dance. The sun shined very warm on her. She danced. The audience loved her. [link]

on Cherry Festival Dancer. I'm very pleased you appreciate her make-up, head-dress, and stoic expression. I think she may have been a Maiko dancing girl and possibly an apprentice geisha. [link]

on Hana Kanzashi. Immediately after I took this photo, this Maiko went on a stage and performed a dance. She almost looks like a doll. [link]
