Favorite visual artist: Hm, there are a few people that have art styles that I admire, but I don't really have a favourite.
Favorite movies: Well I can't think of any of the top of my head, but the last movie I watched was The Hobbit: BotFA. It was interesting. Even if the ending sucked and I had to read like twenty fix-it fanfics to feel less heartbroken.
Favorite TV shows: Right now, Hannibal. It's amazing. So, so amazing, and dark, and gory and hauntingly beautiful in a terrible way.
Favorite bands / musical artists: All of them. All the bands. Except the ones I don't like. c:
Favorite books: Harry Potter, Lord of the rings, every single Terry Pratchett book.
Favorite writers: J.K Rowling, Terry Pratchett, Stephen king, Tolkien.
Favorite games: Assasins creed, Prototype and Thief: Deadly shadows, Thi4f, Fire emblem Awakening and some of the Shin Megami Tensei games.
Favorite gaming platform: Well, I have an Xbox 360 and the Playstation 2 console is an old favourite of mine. But PC beats them all.
Tools of the Trade: Pencils, brushes, my tablet and Photoshop CS6.
Other Interests: Reading insane amounts of Fanfiction, writing some shit, listening to music. Playing with clay and wire. I recently watched Hannibal and my mind was blown.

Kom att tänka på en sak när jag kollade igenom ditt DA-galleri. När du skuggar, använder du oftast (alltid?) bara en mörkare variant av basfärgen. Har du provat "hue-shifting"? Alltså, att gradvis övergå till en annan färg.

Som exempel tar jag figuren Starfy från spelet The Legend of Stafy.: ([link] )

Till vänster går skuggningen över i rött, vilket ger figuren mer djup och "fylligare". Till höger består skuggningen i en mörkare variant av gult, vilket gör figuren plattare och blekare.

Hueshifting används också när ljuskällan i en bild inte är vit, eller när man vill framhäva en viss känsla i bilden (kalla färger ger sorgliga känslor, och tvärt om)

Vet förresten inte hur du tar kritik, men keep in mind att jag gillar dina teckningar, och att det här inte är för att trycka ned dig eller något i den stilen.

Nja, jag har experimenterat lite då och då med färgerna på ljuset och skuggorna, men jag tänker inte så ofta på det. Det enda jag kan tänka mig, och som jag har lagt upp på DA är då 'Air' där jag gjorde skuggorna lite mer blåaktiga, men jag vet inte om det är samma sak?
