I think you should separate your WORK- as an artist, I mean... the external work that doesn't have YOU in it, or as the subject at all, from your work looking OUT into the world- things that have nothing of any images of you in it, meaning, no pictures of your face or body or self- the physical aspect/surface of you.
1) That would remove the crappy inevitable pirating of your images of your body/face/projected persona
2) keep your work as an artist looking out at the world, separate from your appearance of people looking at your surface.
It's an idea- I think it would feel better maybe. Your work can stand on it's own- you don't need pictures of your self to get legitimacy or recognition. AND you can get that as well (of course and do it) on places that support you as a model yourself, the artist in you that is your surface and the places/environments you create using yourself as somehow the subject or part of it.
I think it's critical to try out at some point, because inevitably you're going to get attention for your appearances that...diminishes your work as an inner artist to a degree- so blurring the two by featuring yourself AS the art... complicates that. I mean, it's like going off something: until it's removed, it's too close to the source to get perspective- you'll have to DO it to see it.
Β
It will separate you somehow as an artist. I don't know how to explain it exactly, I think it will help. Put up your art that features YOU as a beautiful living being/model/light and dark and emotions and separate it from the visions you see and capture looking out at other things and experiences. You'll get tons of exposure with your modeling stuff either way, but too often the rest... well the blurs keep things from shinning.
By the way, this isn't where I post my work. lol. I keep it totally separate -I tried this advice out from a great art teacher/photographer and after hearing it again from a famous french vogue-model photographer (who does amazing garden macro images, far more stunning than his vogue work-lol), I tried it.
Anyway. Just an idea if you're lying around sick of netflix and recuperating from all this health shit. You have such stunning work; I'm hoping you take down all your personal pics off DA and put them up on ModelMayhem or something more pro for models (and you can get real work there, besides, your work is already being used so might as well get paid for it if you can make shoots), and let your artist eye on here shine.
Oh, I'm writing so much because I've been through something similar as your recent big blog post. Yeah. Not fun. Still in it too. Art and music and healing...and good people.
Best of health to you and a fast recovery.

Hello sir I know its none of my business and I am truly sorry for coming on in to comment on what you said in thee above. We don't know each other and I'm trying to be subtle about the whole situation I know little about? I do know that I'm definitely Β interested in Ms. Hilary as a model /artist with her creative dark mysterious looks that goes past any of the average beauty that we pass off in tons of categories to genres to the sub genres. I'll stop here because I can go on and on, lolΒ
I basically wanted to say that omg that was so soo kool to offer what at first I didn't catch on but as I kept reading, I understood. That sir is the mentioning of caring on a different level, to give knowledge and opinion from what you've experienced yourself. whew... I felt the sincerity in every word. I tip my hat you and may the New year treat well
