Your art is awesome. I wanted to comment on some of your G00 fanarts but, er, I'd have ended up commenting on all of them *hopeless Lock/Alle fangirl*

well I certainly wouldn't mind the comments aww! Another hopeless fangirl of them? High five!

Yup. As hopeless as one may be *sigh*
High five for you!
You'll be receiving lots of my comments from now on, I think.

hopeless indeed, but it's fun isn't it? must blackmail some people into writing fics, must

There are a few really hot ones on FFnet.

THERE ARE? DX I hope not those I read already xD

Hoshyko In reply to shuu-washuu [2010-03-24 14:25:40 +0000 UTC]
Well, I've pretty much only read the ones by a certain author... if by chance they're the same ones you've already checked out, that would suck because it'd mean there is less good Lock/Alle fanfic than what I thought xD
π: 0 β©: 1
shuu-washuu In reply to Hoshyko [2010-03-29 12:15:14 +0000 UTC]
Yeah there isn't really many of LockAlle fics, and even less fics of AlleLock, which is sad :< But oh well, can't do anything about it. Whining won't help, so i'll just continue buying doujinshi to satisfy my needs xDD
π: 0 β©: 1
Hoshyko In reply to shuu-washuu [2010-03-29 19:45:19 +0000 UTC]
I don't think I've ever seen AlleLock :c There's some HalleLock out there, though.
I agree with you on "more doujinshi" xD sometimes you can find really cute ones.

I've seen some, mostly on LJ though and on kinkmeme :3 They made me happy, even if there is so little of them, orz.
And I tend to write them with my friend for fun, due to the lack of anything else XD
π: 0 β©: 1
Hoshyko In reply to shuu-washuu [2010-03-31 19:57:54 +0000 UTC]
...kink meme. I've only just remembered I should go and read some. Thanks for reminding me xD
Aww, I know, there's so little D: I'd write them myself, too, but I just can't write.
And... may I ask which other fandoms are you in? We might find some other common interests :3
π: 0 β©: 1
shuu-washuu In reply to Hoshyko [2010-03-31 21:26:24 +0000 UTC]
Hahaa, most of kinkmeme is Tieria anyway so I don't check it awfully lot. But I heard that what's there is really well written, so for Tieria fans? Mandatory and highly reccommended place
Same here, orz, can't write, and even if I could, english is not my first language.
I'm kinda dabbling in DRRR, and I adore Berserk haha. Aside from that I've seen many animes, and had been into several fandoms, but since I'm no more into them, I'm not even mentioning them =a= I admit that g00 eats most of my love, and definitely time in drawing sense.
And oh, I'm going to watch Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto soon with friend, and he says I may get into it because... of mysterious ~*~something~*~. I don't know what it is, but since he knows me well he may be right

Hoshyko In reply to shuu-washuu [2010-04-01 11:53:25 +0000 UTC]
I'm not really a Tieria fan (actually he's the one I like the less among the Meisters) but if it's well-written I can read pretty much anything
Durarara is one of the best shows this season, though the fandom is really biased with Shizuo and Izaya.
I think I should consider watching Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto, too, but my plan-to-watch list is already so long =_= ah well. Sooner or later I'll get to it.
Also, I see you've watched Mononoke too :3 that series needs more love, because it's awesome.
π: 0 β©: 1
shuu-washuu In reply to Hoshyko [2010-04-01 11:59:22 +0000 UTC]
Well, I'm actually same, but...just like DRR fandom is obsessed with Shizaya, G00 had it's dose with obsession over Tieria XD Sometimes I wish I could really like and fangirl him tho, I generally can't read fics about characters/pairing I don't like, even if they're well written.
Drrr is the only series I'm following right now, haha. It's fun, and I can see how Shizaya is popular.
AND HYES MONONOKE NGH I love this series, it's so beautiful and underappreciated!

Hoshyko In reply to shuu-washuu [2010-04-02 18:57:50 +0000 UTC]
Every fandom has its bias, and I generally never agree. Like for Death Note, or Kuroshitsuji, or Reborn!, or whatever.
Only series? Whoa, I'm watching like 15+ series, of which four still airing, and I still haven't gotten started on the season's new shows (God help me when I do). To say nothing of the manga I'm currently reading. They're about twenty. Good thing I've managed to finish Tsubasa last evening >.>;;
FFF MONONOKE I completed it only a few months ago but it's really awesome. It's a pity I can't seem to find many fans of the series around... when I saw the pretty fanart in your gallery I was literally squeeing xD

shuu-washuu In reply to Hoshyko [2010-04-02 19:03:39 +0000 UTC]
That's true, and i most often find myself OUTSIDe the most popular thing. drr and death note were the only exeptions i think, and only times when I could truly feel what it means to be in fandom. sometimes i get jealous over such fans, especially in gundam00 haha /strives for ficccccccs, wishes it was possible to convert to locktier and read their tons of ficcs/
only series yes but from those still airing xD; it was the only one to pick my interest this season. I was also watching kobato but i put it on hiatus around ep 7 and now im not even sure if i want to watch and finish it. As for finished ones, I'm watching baccano \o/ aaand still have lots of series on to watch list. But with work and everything around I have little time for watching stuff baww.
As for mangas I'm reading only those I'm buying here - blade of immortal, and i picked first volume of vampire knight from curiosity. also just finished eden it's an endless world. as for scanlations im following claymore and berserk only.
haha im still sad i didnt managed to draw more of mononoke it deserves moreee

Hoshyko In reply to shuu-washuu [2010-04-02 19:45:24 +0000 UTC]
Mmmh, I don't like Shizaya that much, though I don't really mind it... but with Death Note it's another thing entirely, since I just can't stand L.
I'm watching Kobato too, I still have to watch about five episodes... but it isn't really worth it, and I think you'd be better off reading the manga. Baccano is awesome, I was watching it pretty much at the same time I finished Mononoke. So of course when I found out that Durarara is by the same author as Baccano I immediately decided I had to watch it xD don't forget to watch the three special episodes when you finish the main series.
Vampire Knight is on my plan-to-read list. And maybe on my plan-to-watch, too, though I'm currently trying to get up to date with Nabari no Ou and Pandora Hearts. So much stuff to read, and so little time Γ§_Γ§

shuu-washuu In reply to Hoshyko [2010-04-02 20:03:05 +0000 UTC]
In the end im not that big of fan, but... I like it enough to read fics, and enjoy them, which is something I've been missing a lot. Especially since before gundam I was into DN and there were TONS of fanfics there.
Ah, i wish, but the manga isn't publishing here, so i either go with the anime, or wait till it gets xD And yush, i have the special eps of baccano as well!
Hmm, I've seen VK anime seasons, and while it wasn't anything truly good...i enjoyed it. Sometimes I like me some pretty angsty fantasy shoujo, with all cliches and flaws of the genre. As for nabari, i saw the anime, and it was pretty nice. haven't touched the pandora hearts tho, being afraid it will turn into another tapeworm like d'gray man.

Hoshyko In reply to shuu-washuu [2010-04-03 15:00:00 +0000 UTC]
The Death Note fandom is pretty immense, though it's all either L/Light or Mello/Matt (or Mello/Near). I mean, where's the variety?
Well, you can always read Kobato online, I guess. The first volume got published here... about last November. And they haven't published the rest ever since, so I guess I should read the scans, too. Besides, the online scans are usually translated better than the scrappy job they do here with manga >.>;;
D.Gray-Man anime was bad only because there were lots of filler, what wasn't was really good imho. It's the same with Pandora Hearts, it's nice up to episode 20 or so, then the fillers begin and it gets quite bad. Another series for which I recommend reading the manga.
As for Nabari, I am reading the manga and watching the anime at the same time xD I got up to chapter 50 or so (when Yoite dies, in short) and I've heard that the anime stops right after that so I guess I'll finish the anime and then catch up with the manga. Or something like that, anyway.

shuu-washuu In reply to Hoshyko [2010-04-03 17:30:24 +0000 UTC]
Well, there's not much space for the variety in DN? Maybe that's why. The cast of characters is quite limited after all.
I guess I should ineed, but I really dislike reading manga on scans _^_ scans loads to slow, the white starts hurting my eyes after some time, etc. I find it much more comfortable to read the actual manga in it's physical form. The only manga I read online, are those I like really really much, and I know won't get published here any time soon xD
Dunno, I didn't felt that DGMs fillers were that bad, in some times they caused confusing suman arc to make actually more sense]. I read DGM manga too, and I think I dropped it aroud the time the whole attack on the exorcist HQ started or smth. I really can't handle reading shounen mangas when they're being published. Sure there is new material every week, but usually the material isn't anything making a point, cause fights can span for many many chapters...
As for Nabari I heard that there are differences in that. As in..he dies in quite different way in anime and in manga. I know people don't like anime ending, but personally I think it wrapped the anime story well. /shrugs/

Hoshyko In reply to shuu-washuu [2010-04-03 21:32:29 +0000 UTC]
That's true too... but it still depresses me xD
I also agree with you about endless shounen manga fights. I'm up to date with both KHR and Bleach, and while KHR had just concluded an arc and begun a new one, Bleach is still going on with the same fights since, what, more than a year? It's getting really frustrating now. Urgh. The only problem with it is that I just can't bring myself to stop reading it after getting this far.
Well, whatever happens with the Nabari anime ending, I can shrug it off as a side story or something. I don't think it'll be anything too bad, whatever it is. The only filler ending I really disliked was Kuroshitsuji, and I hope to never see worse, so I should be fine.

Well, I really couldn't force myself to keep up with bleach, endless fights for months and months, and my favourite character from the series appearing like..what...once every 60 chapters? Waiting a year just to get glimpse of him, while charas i didn't even cared about kept doing the asskicking/got asskicked just bore me _^_
Oh lol, yeah, i heard that kuroshitsuji anime treatment and ending was horrible.
π: 0 β©: 1
Hoshyko In reply to shuu-washuu [2010-04-07 12:03:45 +0000 UTC]
Well, one of my favorite characters died, another hasn't appeared for roughly two years and a half (except one-panel long flashbacks), two have been cut down twenty chapters ago and nobody's told us anything about their status, another couple have more screentime in the anime than in the manga... who is (or was) your favorite character, by the way?
Urgh. Kuroshitsuji. Horrible shit, seriously, though fandom loved it. And the second season is going to start airing this summer...

GASP someone died in bleach? finally? lol! well I liked gin the best. and urahara and yoruichi were my second best. I never really cared about team strawberry, and most of the shinigamis, so... >_>;; I read it only because my friends are very into it, and i was once present on bleach anime marathon xD; Kinda liked the foxy guy, decided to read the manga to learn more, then tried to keep up but wasn't able to xD;;
Oh, hahhaha, i kinda...have to agree... i dropped that anime before it hit the tenth episode.

Hoshyko In reply to shuu-washuu [2010-04-07 12:19:23 +0000 UTC]
Don't get your hopes up, it wasn't anyone on the "good" side. The only ones who ever die are always the villains... and it was a pretty popular character to boot. But he was a villain, so he had to go. Gin is still alive at the moment, but... I'm afraid he won't last too long. Because, you know, the latest chapters have been focused mostly on him...
Actually, for Kuroshitsuji, the best part was really the beginning, because it followed the manga. It started to derail after about... six episodes... yes the good part didn't last long *headdesk* but at least I started reading the manga thanks to it, and it's not half bad.

Ah, dang, does ulqiourra or grimmjow kicked the bucket? they were fun D: and doh, after almost two years of nothing gin gets lots of chapters? hn, indeed worrisome xD
as for kuroshitsuji i liked only first episode. later it got...weird... and the shota undertones in air, didn't sit very well with me, but i still was willing to watch it. cause i liked madam red very much, yeah.
and then there was the ep with nekkid dog-guy or smth and i said 'enough' =_='
π: 0 β©: 1
Hoshyko In reply to shuu-washuu [2010-04-08 17:49:08 +0000 UTC]
We just lost Ulquiorra. Well, I say "just", but he's been dead since 40 chapters ago. I am still in a semi-denial state about it. Grimmjow, on the other hand, hasn't really appeared since 114 chapters ago (and still counting). Gin has just used Bankai, and if you're a bad guy in Bleach, sadly Bankai equals death D:
I didn't mind the shota undertones, I don't even ship those two (I'm in that 0.0001% of the fandom that actually ships Ciel with his fiancΓ©e), so the first episodes weren't a problem. Madam Red was a great characters, it's a pity she had to die so soon... and then yes, right after Madam Red's funeral what happens? Demon dogs. Fille demon dogs, I might add. I facepalmed so much...

shuu-washuu In reply to Hoshyko [2010-04-08 18:27:23 +0000 UTC]
D'awww, Ulqiourra D: and lawl, 114 chapters of not showing grimmy. but i'm pretty sure there are characters that didn't show up for even longer
I didn't noticed much of shota undertones, until everybody around me started squeeling how sebbyxciel is hhhhhawwwwt, and proceeded from there how butler should just raep the cute shota etc.... it caused a knee-jerk reaction to me, i admit, but after that, and then death of madam red, AND the demon dog, I just went ghhh on series, and went somewhere else. Like, to continue reading franken fran or something.

I know Γ§__Γ§ and yes, well, Tatsuki hasn't shown up in around 250 chapters or so, but she doesn't regularly place in the top 5 most popular characters of the series. Grimmjow does.
Okay, I'll say it: I can't stand Sebby/Ciel. There. I said it, and I feel much better now. It seems to be the only thing the fanbase draws/writes about, though, and that's a problem.
Franken Fran has pretty high priority on my list of stuff to read, and I read pretty much only positive comments about it, so is it really that good? Should I start reading it right now or something?

Yes, that's more or less what I had already heard of it~ I guess I'll finish watching Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (which I'm marathoning like there's no tomorrow) and then I'll start reading Franken Fran too \o/ good thing I find freakshow amusing. Deadman Wonderland is one of my favorite series, just to name one *u*
