It's a system the implemented in quite some games by now. You get achievements by completing different tasks in games.

In World of Warcraft it could be, for exmaple, "Defeat boss XY in less than two minutes!" or something like it.

In the end it's only a method of tying you to one game more thorough, though. ;) (Wink)

I DO hope so...Star Wars Galaxies wasn't exactly my kind of thing. But with KOTOR, they got a lot of potential. In spite of this, I really doubt it'll become as popular as WoW. -.-

World of Warcraft is a well-oiled machine running on a very successful gaming concept, methinks - and it goes on, and, on, and on...11 million players and that number will continue to grow, if you ask me. And it's really nice to play - if I didn't think that, I wouldn't have been playing it for three years (I actually looked up my account creation date when I cancelled payments...06.09.2005 Oo)

BUT all that doesn't keep me from hoping an MMO in my favourite universe will be equally good. :D (Big Grin)

I'll make sure to announce here what I'm going to play on which server, should I really start playing it. ^^

After recovering from an operation I had two weeks ago (nothing too serious, though "just" four wisdom teeth [are they called that in English?^^] ), I'm quite good again. :) (Smile)
