Congrats on the DD. I've always love models since I was a kid, but never got as detailed as you. I only ever used sculpey clay for my miniatures. You do amazing work, and I like that you use all the recycled materials like that.

Also, I know I added a lot of your work to my sculpture folder - I could have created a citadel folder I guess, but since your hand building everything I figure it qualifies as sculpture. :) (Smile)

I've been doing some sci fi modelling and painting, although its Trek, not Games workshop, but I've been buying white Dwarf again because the standard of painting is much higher than with other types of models. :) (Smile)

You should send them some photos - you might get a feature. Although I dont think they'd want to show people that you can scratch build character miniatures - they make too much money from that.

But the right miniatures with some of your scratch built towers and stuff, that should easily make it in. They feature people that arent half as good.

By the way, I'm alright at carving stuff, and a decent enough painter, but when it comes to models and conversions you're in a different league.

I've only just got back into painting models after twenty years where I was focused entirely on 2-d work and some sculpture. :) (Smile)
