I've read the first two books, I tried reading the third but it got too sappy and lovey dovey and drama for me. Worse than twilight sappy in the third book.

Cal doesn't become the main baddy.
At the end of the third book they travel so far in time they end up at the original roll call where the angels chose their sides with the throne or lucifer.
Present time daniel repeats his decision but the throne said he can change his mind at the site where all the angels fell to earth.

So daniel and the angels join up with Cam and his demons to find the site where they fell and stop lucifer from destroying the world.

Eventually we find out why lucifer rose up and opposed the throne and why daniel chose not to side with either one of them, it was because of Luce.

It turns out that Luce is an angel, and is actually one of the throne's closest angels, like third favourite so to speak.

what happened was while Luce was in heaven, she met Lucifer before he became the devil and they fell in love with each other but he became possesive of her and wanted her to love only him and not the throne. She didn't want to abandon the throne so left lucifer. Daniel finds her in a field crying and he comforts her and she starts to feel something towards him.

Before anything major can happen between them Lucifer rose up against the throne and the roll call happened. Daniel made his decision before Luce did and so was swept aside along with the other angels that didn't get to choose.

At the site of the fall the angels are able to defeat lucifer and send him to hell, the throne appears before them in Human form (Female) and grants both the angels and demons the chance to change their decision. everyone chooses a side except daniel and luce who instead of choosing a side, chose love and say they want to be together, The throne said that she can make that happen but it will cost them their 'Angel' forms meaning that she changed them both into mortals and sent them back to earth to live out mortals lives without any memory of them being angels or their past lives.

They eventually meet up around the same age at college where up in the sky roland, miles and shelby are watching over them.

Wow that's quite an ending. Thanks for the summary I don't think I could've read the rest of the books xD but I'm happy to know the ending now.

fair eunf, i was gonna say that you needn't waste your time with them.

I mean the first 5 books are okay but by the 6th one the main girl Elena was really starting to piss me off, so i stopped reading them after the 8th (I was kinda hoping she'd change her attitude but she didn't lol)

What always annoyed me was that Luce seemed so confused all the time, she wanted Daniel now she doesn't, they fought so she hates him, now they're making out. It was too back and forth for me, are you into him or not?! I just gave up.

True, but i suppose that's due to the fact of how much of their past she's kept hidden from her and how in her past lives she was happy with her family until he turned up and tore them apart by making her erupt into flames.

In the Vampire Diaries Elena is in love with Stefan, the kind, caring and boring one but she cant decide whether or not she prefers his brother Damon the mean, hurtful dangerous one. She loves them both but is always with Stefan and throughout most of the books she loves Stefan but lusts after Damon which really pissed me off about her. It was a case of 'Stefan is the one I'll always love but if Damon was there then I'd totally would'
