HMMMM thats a tough one... There are so many I love, especially Studio Ghibli movies... but as for series I'd have to pick some of my 5 start ones.... It's probably Full Metal Alchemist It's got everything, such a complete package with all the humor and feels <3 Whats your #1?

I dropped FMA. ;_; It was too hard for me to watch. Exactly that anime.
It's Sailor Moon. A great anime that though many take as some childish silly thing, but it touches so many problems in society and life also, it's just great, I love it and love it since early years also. It;'s just very good. Not likle that some have nopstagia from pokemon, no.
It is very kind, but also at the same time harsh enough for people to see that life is not all "skittles".

Thats a part why I like anime aswell, they actually write the content to provoke a bit instead of just to entertain and the comedy is way better Best ghibli is either Mononoke, Laputa or Whisper of the heart. I also loved Summer Wars, Girl who leapt through time, Wolf Children and Hotarubi no Mori e, none of which are Ghibli, but still beyond awesome.

I've probably seen some small bits of Sailor Moon as a kid but I guess it was a bit too girly for me at the time What made FMA too hard to watch?

Many anime nowadays are just nothing. .____. I didn't watch any anime for a time...

Haha. If to get behind some monster fights and so, yeah it IS kind of girly but I also know males who like it just for being very kind <= and not for girls. xD

Emotionally hard. x.x Not sure how to explain. SOme things were too much. At the beginning that mix of a girl and a dog. That also was too much. x_x And with time came more. It's just not for me.
I sure watched other anime. I know they weren't all fluffy and so but FMA is just hard for my psychics. x_x

Yeah, FMA is a very rough anime like that, but thats something that really grips me... I loved Elfen Lied too, and its far worse in that regard. Clannad afterstory is hard like that too, which is why I loved it.

I think the art style in Sailor Moon is so shoujo that I couldnt find it cool enough to spark an interest at the time. I'm sure its a great anime tho. Its true that its hard to find such good series nowdays, everything is quite short... Have you seen Bakuman?

FMA is just different from other animes. I saw Elfen Lied also and man, I see you like it but that's just UGH. Not in the point of some psychological issues and blabla but some psycho made it who loved blood. XD It was just a mash of ugliness and disgust. o_____o My pardon if you like it a lot.

I love Clannad for being very emotional and sincere.

Haha yeah. SM is made for girls mostly after all. But many love.
Nope. It had something about mecha, no? xD Not sure.
I forgot Bleach. I love it a lot too. It needs to bump in near SM and Clannad in my list. Do you like it?
