People usually take responding and then blocking immediately afterward as a cowardly tactic. That seems to be what she thought occured.


First off, both of you need to check your block lists as blocking is two way. You can't block a user from responding and keep responding to them anymore.

MLP related as you can tell from the comments. A bunch of fans got upset because another fan decided to 'prank' the writer of the newest generation and ended up with hundreds of people pissing in his mailbox.

If you are, based on some of the things you said, both me and *stephastated have actually never commented on Faust's page... once, don't care if she ever notices us, don't think Cosmeon is an evil furry, don't think Faust is a god, etc.

We were brought to this deviants user page because he was asking Steph what she felt about it (unprovoked, I might add, she had basically nothing to do with it, but Cosmeon DID harass her in a similar way to Faust so... ). It became something I even felt my need to speak my mind over because he was basically making fun of Steph after she gave a response to him, which he ASKED for... and while we both have personal experience with Cosmeon causing trouble for us, most people taking his side really don't.

If what I said on this page gave you this sort of reaction I think that's really ridiculous. :/

I agree with you... Maybe Cosmeon/Cosmo did a mistake writing that but I think that he didn't deserve to be attacked in that way.

I'm totally worried about Cosmeon, he left his art galleries and he was so kind with me when he commented in my pics here on deviantart and furaffinity. I hope he'll back soon, I really miss him and I'm really worried...

I think a real brony/filly doesn't attack in that way a person, the real brony/filly ask first to know the point of view of both sides, it's more reasonable.. well is that what I could do but when I wanted to ask Cosmeon about that and to know if he was ok he left his galleries ;n;

Well, people like you think that because all the people who know about me know I'm a filly for a long time and they don't think I'm a freak because they respect me, more because they know about the MLP history and respect and admire the hard work of the artists and artisans who worked in the pony illustrations, packaging designs, cartoons and toys designs because they were more complicated than the new pony generation that has the support of the computer technology.

Nope, all the fans don't think that, specially because all them know that Lauren Faust is a big fan of the G1 MLP, the original concepts designs of the 6 important characters were 6 G1 ponies, but Hasbro didn't permit Faust to use them for some problems with the lost copyrights of all the G1 MLP characters (with the exception of Applejack and Spike the Dragon and probably Moondancer).

And yes, if I am considered a "freak" just for that issue then Lauren Faust is a "freak" too.. but just the closedminds think that because no one who I met here online and in real life think that, including my boss who is not a brony thinks that is something marvelous to see the pop culture of the MLP, he really admires that, he thinks it's a good way of expression, including he wants to watch with calm all the episodes of the new generation and he really admires the designs of the first generation of ponies.

Unfortunately many bronies only like FIM and hate everything else to do with it. It's really quite silly and hypocritical as I see it. It also doesn't help that many of the fans are quite rabid.

A good example is when Allison 'Obscurus Lupa' Pregler reviewed gen 3 direct-to-DVD movie My Little Pony: The Princess Promenade. She performed the entire review without mentioning Friendship is Magic, which was swiftly interpreted as a malicious act by some of the fans. She responded by saying that the show "looks fine, just isn't my bag". Somehow this got twisted into "I hate it and you all should be ashamed of it", and since then she's gotten enough negative feedback to convince her to avoid it like the plague.

Wow a mature reply! You have restored some of my faith in this fandom. I was expecting a lot of drama declaring cosmo was the devil and I'm a furry freak for standing up for him.

Indeed Cosmo didn't deserve the back lash he got for such a small mess up. Every one makes mistakes from time to time. Really I'm sick of artist's fangirl thinking they need to be there personal bodyguards. If I was Faust I'd be embarrassed not so much by comos but by the extremes my fans sink to. I can't imagine the loads of comments and notes she must get every day. Who knows if she really even paid that much attention or was that bothered to comos comment in the first place. I damn sure she did not cry her self to sleep like her fans seem to think. I think the fans blew that WAY out of proportions.

I'm really happy he came back to FA and maybe even DA. He's always been nice to me for the years I've known him.

You know, these "bronies/fillies" overreacted, they totally did a horrible mess up just for that comment... Big part of these "bronies/fillies" are newbies, they came to the "bronyhood" for that new MLP FiM Cartoon, meanwhile I'm a proud filly long time ago (80's - First generation of MLP, the original first pony was named "My Pretty Pony" and was so huge, unfortunatelly I didn't have one lol)...

Of course all depends of the manners, my father taught me to listen first both sides instead to act quickly in these kind of situations "Use your brain first"... I really was totally dissapointed to see all the reaction of the bronies and fillies attacking without mercy, that was awful! Including a friend of mine who started to like the MLP (it's my fault) he totally agree with me... Cosmo didn't deserve to be attacked... it was a little mistake, a little comment... he didn't write a long letter to start a world war... And yeah, Faust just said that was so creepy to know about the porn stuff with her ponysona, she didn't said that Cosmo was a bad person... And as you say, if I was Faust all this situation made me feel so embarrased and of course dissapointed to see the reaction of all the fandom...

Why bronies and fillies? Why didn't you thought the things first?? Remember that we are HUMANS and humans aren't perfect... including Faust, she's a human, a creative one and I admire her art (specially her sketchies), and it's in our nature to make mistakes... it's so normal, the same mistakes help us to learn to do the good things...

I really really wish to see again Cosmo because I know he's a good person, hope he'll be fine soon, I really miss him...
