# About me
I am very happy, that's basically it. I can find joy in any instance. I love taking pictures, I care what you have to say, but if its negative, it won't bother me too much. I also love flyfishing and to sail(especially a catamaran). I'm from Minnesota, USA hence the snow. I feel kinda bad for all you folks who have never seen snow before. I love it. And along with flyfishing, any other kind of fishing is very enjoyable. If you've got a question for me, go ahead and ask. Also I love to hear what you like or think about my photography and if you like it, go ahead on fav. it if you feel the need to do so, I always like seeing those. Take care. Just saw them for the eleventh time last night. Still amazed.

Hey I'm doing features for 15 people...granted...the features are a little pathetic since I don't have a sub, but the point is to spread the word about other artists around.
I'll be choosing my top 3 favorites of yours.
But I need you to do the same for me

Hey thanks! I'll gladly do it, but I don't know how to do features. I've always wanted to though, but am unsure how to do it. I don't have a membership though.

I don't either. All you do is show the person's icon and then do links to your top 3 favorites.
You can see some examples in my journal. I'll be adding your name.

Oh fer sure! Hey so random question about Aberdeen...have you ever heard the names Steve, Diane, Ana or Katrina Meyer? Steve Meyer was a Lutheran Pastor out in Aberdeen for like 15 years or so I believe.

good stuff, I would advise you upload pictures to be able to view them full screen, or full view, kinda hard when they're so small. Nice job though.

Steel Wool it is. If you're going to replicate what I did, only buy the finest Steel Wool.
Save your cash other wise, the rest won't burn.
No accelerant needed.
Good Luck, Be safe and Have fun!

It looks like your interested in Long exposure work and it looks like you are getting the hang of it but if I may...
You have several hot spots. Everyone gets them.. I know I do on occasion. Looking at your settings I see that you are probably not using a Neutral Density filter or a Circular polarizer.
I see that you shoot Cannon... I shoot Nikon D300 which actually has more noise at an ISO100 then ISO 800... funny how that happens.
These are the setting that I always start with:
ISO 200
F 18
1/3 sec (1/2 seems to be too long and you loose some detail in the water)
ND4 filter
Circ Polerizer
Adjust F-stop and speed to compensate for light levels.
One other interesting way that you can control the burn outs is by using a hand held graduated ND filter. These work great for shooting reflections off lakes while capturing the motion of waves and not burning out a sunset/rise over the lake.
