Yeah, I do go to AiJx, actually, and I can see that you do too. Have Tonya for Color Theory? She totally is a stickler for neatness, in every single one of her classes. Trust me in comes in handy! I got A's in both Color Theory and PoD.

Actually I have Barret Fiser for Color Theory. He is also a stickler for neatness but yeah, I am horrible with glue and it hinders my grade a bit in his class but I am still passing. I think I have A B- in his class. As for my PoD and Basic drawing both, I have David Webster and he is awesome I am acing both of his classes.

Ah, Barret.... Barret (Beardo) is Tonya's fiance. They're pretty much exactly the same, but Barret can be more of a pain in the ass. Webster's a breeze. Just make sure it "looks cool" and you'll pass. You can not turn anything in with him, tell him you have it all the week before finals, and he'll let you turn it in for full credit, he's a sap. When you do Perspective, you actually want Tonya, she's the best for it. Any of the other drawing classes don't matter too much. What's your major? Mine's graphic. Speaking of class... finals....

Yeah Graphics as well, I actually dipped out on Color Theory today because I haven't finished my complementary colors grid painting and yes, I took a silk screening class with Tanya and she is far nicer than Barret, I think Barret is a rude person and he has insulted our class on numerous occasions, as a matter of fact with this project he said that every other school he has taught at has managed to ace this project whereas AI students can't seem to grasp the concept. I guess it offends me because I pay a hell of alot more to goto AI instead of UNF and I go to AI for a reason, I am an artist! Your right Webster is a push over, As long as it looks good he will give you an A. In his PoD class he is blowing up a couple of my projects to be hung as posters on the wall, in particular my week 6 7 projects which were my gradation and radiation which I am not too fond of and my week 8 textures project which I am about to post up on DA. What days do you have class, even though we only have like 1 more week left my schedule is Monday/Tuesday: 8-5 and Wednesday: 8-12. My schedule next semester is Wednesday/Thursday/Friday and my times are all wacked out. Maybe I will see you at school sometime, My name is Jerrod BTW.

I missed that screen printing workshop, to my horrible regret. Stupid work! The first time I had Barret for a class was Beginning Drawing. He stood behind all of us and just snickered for 11 weeks. I'm not even kidding. I have witnesses that were in that class. If you scrape by with a C, it's a good thing. Anyway, no more about him, he makes me upset. Currently I have classes on Tuesday morning, Wednesday afternoon and Thursday to 5pm. Next term will be even better with Tuesday mornings, Wednesday to 5pm, and Thursday to 5pm too. It would be pretty cool to meet you! Ha, this is my new friend that I met online. You're not a stalker, right? Nice to meet you Jerrod, I'm Irene (I have work hanging up in the hallway by the Mac room! It's exciting, hahaha.).

I was meaning to check out your work next to the mac lab but I didn't get the chance. It should be there next semester. In color theory I got a C+ so I guess I should be happy. No I am not a stalker and I think I will be seeing you Wednesday and Thursday next Semester I still need to look at my schedule and find out exactly when my classes are. I don't know if you saw the other drawings in the hallway but directly across from my Mitch sketch is another grid drawing of some foggy woods, it was for texture in BD but I personally like that one way better than the Mitch sketch. Anyways I look forward to seeing you at school next semester, maybe they will hold another contest and we can partner up and win haha (when they had Graphic Design week I won the Starbucks ad Competition and got a 50$ gift card woo-hoo!)

Yeah, once you posted your name and a few pictures, I did find that you had a bunch of work up around Ai, and I have to say that I'm both impressed and quite jealous, cos you're really very good! It's still new and exciting for me when someone says I do a good job with my work, which is why pretty much everything I make winds up on dA at some point, no matter how crappy the work. Don't worry about whatever time you didn't spend around here or whatever... I spend way more time on the internets than is healthy!

Well, you should get used to them, and no I don't take my own advice. I look forward to meeting you too! And you should keep posting your stuff as well, because you very much put all my work to shame. But I'll keep uploading. The ego-boost is too good to waste when one of your works gets favorited!

man, you DO like mechas. thanks for the fav...
BTW, do you know any movie with mechas? in "real" life, beside those ones of anime? Are also cool, but I like most the "real" ones. I mean, filmed. Robots in stop motion or CG, but with real actors.
I know one: "Robot Jox" but is a little old.
The mechas of Matrix revolutions are the best I've ever seen.
sorry for all the text. C ya, nice gallery...

Actually that is the only movie I have ever seen with live footage of mecha sci-fi. I have however seen Appleseed: Ex Meachina which is sort of anime. It is actually 3-d rendering and tomb shading which is sort of like cell-shading but better. Its pretty cool if you like mechs.
