...I'm playing Birth by Sleep: Final Mix and I'm at the last boss of the entire arena (which is basically a steroided up version of Xemnas's armor) and I pretty much rage quit after a while.

I don't know, maybe. Like, he does this one attack where he knocks you up into the air and surrounds you with Keyblades in all directions and all of them stab you at the same time. I've had it to where he only had two bars of health left and I desperately needed to heal because I was at one hit point and he's like, "Nope, you no get to heal because Keyblades." It's a bit frustrating, but at least he doesn't constantly guard like the Armor of Eraqus. XD

That's why you need a high level so health bars go down quickly and have curga in your quick slots

I have three Curagas...and three Hi-Potion slots along with Recover Block and Heal Strike. XD I'm at Level 64 (which, admittedly, isn't that high) and I'm probably going to level up more. For whatever reason, though, I have this love/hate relationship with leveling up in Birth by Sleep. I mean, more attack and defense is great no matter what. But I can never really pinpoint where the best world to level up in is for Birth by Sleep. For example: Kingdom Hearts II, the best place to level up in is The World That Never Was. In Birth by Sleep, there's four locations that are possible candidates (The Keyblade Graveyard, Radiant Garden, Neverland, and the Mirage Arena). For Ventus and Aqua, they both have the Mickey D-Link (which doubles EXP) and leveling goes a lot quicker. For Terra, you just gotta go by the default EXP. *shrug*

Normally I play under level until the last two bosses then get ten over the recommended level with the a cure in the quick keys plus the highest attacks. I hate fighting a lot to level up too but it's a thing you can do til you're bored so go to a different world and spam one area that has a lot to fight.

That makes sense. Like, what I tend to do (especially in Birth by Sleep) is go in as much as I can with barely leveling up until I absolutely have to level up. I mean, shit, I went through most of the first game without equipping anything (I got all the way up to Hollow Bastion with just Kingdom Key, no accessories, and no abilities until the Riku fight...and that's when I suddenly became good at the game).
What kinda kept me from getting bored while leveling was dividing the world into different parts. What I mean: Going from the Alley In Between to the save point right before the Castle That Never Was, fighting all enemies in between, and then leaving and coming back to do it all again until I got to a certain level and then continued on to the next save point after that.
