Cheers dude. I like your letters that you just did writing, they were nice. Feel free to check out all of my other stuff. I have like a bajillion drawings to submit, but its hecka tedious. Its like ahh, ya know. But im yammering now, sleep depravity will do strange things like that. you have a grand day, assuming you're a good person! :) (Smile)

Thanks a lot, I'll do my best to keep it up :D (Big Grin) And I did check out your gallery, it's very creative. Looks like you do a lot of your work digitally, so I can't really offer any techniques or anything like that because I don't have any experience with digital art. What I can say is no matter what you learn going forward, the creativity you're working with should always be at the forefront. You can teach a lot of stuff, but I think originality is something that's hard to come by.

But in terms of developing style & technique, the way I've always learned was to study artists I admired and, nowadays, look up videos online. I've always picked up little things here and there from examining other people's work, that way you can apply new techniques to your work.

I know I've seen a lot of digital painting tutorials on youtube, you should do a search there.

Thanks, yes i do lot of digital art, but I also do a lot of traditional art, I just dont post that much on deviantart. I like to play around with mediums, like i painted a drawing i did with skittles.
Im hoping to get into graphic design, which requires a lot of digital art skill. Anyways thanks for the comment and keep up the great work. :) (Smile)

Always good to experiment :D (Big Grin) It's a huge learning tool. I like the skittles idea. I've painted with soy sauce before and really liked it. Graphic design is a great field to get into, so keep it up with the digital art. That's one thing I wish I considered when I was younger. You're doing a great job with the coloring and shading too.

Yes, painting with skittles is fun, and sometimes the skittle would flick out of my hand but it was okay because it made a cool pattern on the paper. Thanks for the compliment :D (Big Grin) .

So how do the skittles work? Do you melt them down or do you just hold one of them and kind of chalk it on??

I got a bowl of water and dipped the skittles in it like that. the colour kind of comes off on your fingers though.
