Hello there~!
I've come across your art a few times in groups this week, and wanted to come onto your gallery and tell you, I think you're really talented!! I love your style so much, the expressions you do, and movement in your art is wonderful!! You are also really good at coloring not only digitally, but traditionally as well (I hope to one day master coloring with my markers as well as you do. ; w; )
Anyways, it seems you're new here so welcome!! I'm sure you'll become popular on here quickly~!!!
I'm for sure going to become a watcher, and I can't wait to see more from you in the future.
I hope you have a wonderful day. <3

You're welcome~!! I'm really glad that it did, you deserve to hear all that~!!
Half of my markers are copics, the others are a cheaper brand, but almost work as well. If you don't mind me asking, what sort of paper do you usually use????
Thank you~!! I'm sure it will be. :>

I usually use normal sketchbook paper, nothing special. At the moment I'm using cheaper sketchbooks from a shop called hobby craft, they're just the stores own brand and i'm pretty sure many craft stores will have something similar though, my copics and promarkers don't bleed onto the other pages so that's good and it works okay with watercolours, sorry if this hasn't been much help, just make sure you look at the gsm of the paper, paper that's too thin isn't very good for markers and they can chew the paper.
hope this helped

AxolotlAnne In reply to L-Draws [2017-09-05 03:50:38 +0000 UTC]

It did!! I've never heard of hobby craft sadly, I usually get my supplies at Michaels, or off of amazon.
Usually my paper is too thin, even when I think it's good enough, so I always put a piece of printer paper under it usually so it doesn't bleed onto the rest of my paper. (It's usually my black, or really bright colors that bleed the most. )
(Thank you so much for taking the time to write this down, it means a lot to me that you did. ; w; )

Hey no problem haha, I think hobby craft and Micheals are quite similar actually, but amazon is always a good choice, if you really are worried about bleeding letting the colour dry before adding another layer may help
I'm glad to have helped

AxolotlAnne In reply to L-Draws [2017-09-05 20:33:07 +0000 UTC]

Alright~!! That's good. ^ ^
Oh! That also sounds good, I'll wait a bit longer for the layers.
Oh One last thing I can think of. I have blenders for my markers, but they seem too bleed out of the lines the most, I also feel like I may be using them wrong because at times it looks like it gives it something similar to a water mark on it, which throws of the drawing a bit. Any advice on how to use those.
(again thank you so much for taking time to respond. You're so kind. )

Hey um I don't really recommend blenders as the best techniques for blending marker ink, and so I learnt through youtube how to blend copics etc, I recommend Baylee Jaes channel she does a lot of those kinds of tutorials
Good luck
L
And I'm very happy to respond😉
