Sooooo dudes and dudettes, lemme tell ya a bit about myself!

I was founded by a dude, a Mr. Christopher Columbus! Around sometime 20 May 1506, but thats something you guys know from your history text books! I remember seeing him, I was really scared!

But... I also met Finny and his friend Sweden, both really cool dudes! Well at least to me now. Tho' both were still really scary too back then...

Oh! And then I met Britain and France!

For a bit they were...okay. I dunno why, but I didn't feel too scared around them. An' well.. uh.... ya'll know what happened, I choose Britain over Frenchy blah blah blah..

A-Anyway! For a while I was Britains colony, one of the best! I was attatched to Britain, an' it really sucked when the dude wasn't there... but I did get a new lil' bro that he got from Frenchy in 1763, my awesome bro Canadia!

But after the 7-Year-War (The Seven Years' War was a global military war between 1756 and 1763,) with Frenchie that Britain had, money was tight...REALLY tight. So he started taxing us, his colonies more and well.. hell man I ain't gonna put up with that injustice for my people! Sooooo...

The Boston Tea Party Baby!!! Hahahaha that was totally awesome! On December 16, 1773, after officials in Boston refused to return three shiploads of taxed tea to Britain, a group of colonists boarded the ships and destroyed the tea by throwing it into Boston Harbor.

Anyway yeah it was awesome but duuuude... it pissed that ol' Brit OFF! Anyway, soon after that... it kept getting worse, I was getting more and more restless... when finally it happened.

It was...hard to say the least. I guess I just don't like talk'n too much 'bout it but..in the end it all came out to something good. Its the day I was truly born... July 4th, 1776
