Even though you feel as if you cannot contribute any visual art to this site, artists here are always pleased whenever a fellow member leaves an insightful critique or thoughtful response to their artwork; such commentary is very important as it shows the artist just what kind of impact their work has left on others.
Might I add that judging from your eloquent writing style, I'd wager that many would be interested in any written pieces you have to offer up as well.

As a matter of fact, I have considered such an option. I do enjoy writing, but am unsure as to how it would be received. Also, with the extent of topics available in which to express my thoughts on, I would not know quite where to begin.

I'm sure it will most likely be recieved well, because you select the search words used for it- thus, if anyone reads it, it is likely they were searching for something along those lines.
As for which topic to start with, simply choose one and continue from there- there isn't a limit. I have difficulty deciding what to write as well, and I normally work on multiple ones at around the same time. Then, I choose the one I think has the best 'polish', best grammer, and is over all the most complete, and post it; then I return to the others, to work on them.

I am only now finding the means within myself to return to my creativity after years of stagnancy. The last piece of extensive writing I have created was a research essay for school, and though I did achieve a one hundred percent, it is completely unlike writing for recreational purposes. I say this because I am glad to know that I will have someone to critique my work and help improve while my abilities have much room for it.
