Thanks I had to teach myself to draw in like 2 months. When I started writing my book I couldn't find a reliable artist so I googled images and and piece by piece drew an image that best expressed the characters personality. Then I changed my major when I when back to school my second year to web graphic design so I could enhance the images on my own since my boy was being a flake about helping me. With the little I learned I enhance the images but I did have some help cause I had a girl color them. But I made them pop. I will be posting the regular colored ones so you can see what I did after the coloring.

hell yea it had an epic ending. the other one fizzled out with a WTF. So many of my friends didnt even know about brotherhood. I kept telling them but they thought it was the same thing. I was like no you gotta watch this one you'll love it. I tell everyone if I had my choice I would have the people that did brotherhood turn my book into an anime. The would be able to realize my vision. That What my LLC means MASSYV INK. THE YV stands for young vision. Mass stands for I want the company to be massive. And Ink is for the writing cause everything has to be writen out weather it be art, books, music, comics.

That's cool! ^_^ I had gone with TaeKwonDoMonk, because I learn Tae Kwon Do. The Monk part was for the fact I like all things Asian and would like to know more about the world and their cultures (the food doesn't hurt either ). I respect nature as well.

Yea your lucky over here they added like 2 or 3 more belts so I left my school at junior Black. Only good thing is if I get into a fight I cant be sued for my because I never had to sign that paper stating that I'm legally a weapon. but that was 11 years ago. Good luck.

I found that every school has a different belt system and I've been in the program for 4 1/2 years. Thank you

my school had 11 belt what the hell is that. even tho I tested early for the first 6 or 7 but still thats alot of belts. I liked my school at first cause the guy who started it saw the flaws in TKD you have to get your leg speed and strength up hi to do well in a fight and even then you cant go throwing kicks around in a real fight someone will grab your leg. She he incorporated, hopkito, judo, kempo, and others to fill in the gaps TKD doesnt.

I tried filling in the gaps with what few other martial arts are offered, such as Kajukenbo and Tai-chi. The method that's used most to prevent someone from catching a leg is to re-chamber the kick and not let it hang out after the kick. The biggest thing that irks me in my class is the way they were doing Hoshinsul (self-defense) for the upper belts. We were taught the basics when standing right in front of our partner, but when it comes to a "real-time" practice situation, it becomes a grapple fight, which becomes a completely different ball game for me (a.k.a. a swift kick out of the bird's nest).

I understand the re-chambering of the kick but when you teach not everyone is quick enough to bring it back like Jet Li. In a real fight after a kick or 2 that person will be ready for the next one. My method was a lil different as to a pressure point strike, a stun strike and you could finish off with a fancy TKD kick.

Kajukenbo offers a little bit of everything and I like some of the principles it teaches for street fighting. One of them is to use the nearest weapon to the nearest target and another is "hit first, hit hard and don't quit". It almost taught to an extent of improvisational fighting and it was effective for mid to close-range fighting, where TKD taught long-range. I'm trying to establish a base and build up to a style that works for me.
