Hey dude! Thanks for the birthday wishes. Just read your masking tutorial. That process looks sweet! I'm trying to get back into real media again, too. I just took my acrylic and oil paints home from my parents' house in Ohio. Not sure when I'll do anything with them, but I want to try!
Seattle is cool. I'm getting pretty settled now, which feels great after three months of turmoil. I got a full time job recently! (at least for the next three months on a contract)
Would you be down to do some sort of speed-collab or art trade this weekend? Whatever we can get done between Friday night and Sunday night.

I would like to invite you to join my art book contest that I'm hosting in my group, . The contest is "The Game and the Gamer Contest" and will consist of three separate themes: redesign, games playing games and project yourself. Each theme will have a separate deadline, here are the deadlines: October 25th, November 14th and December 5th. Ultimately, the best entries will be made into an art book. There will be big prizes given to the contest's victor and to the runner ups. Will it be you? Join and submit an entry and we'll find out.

I would love to join, but I'm afraid between work and a big personal project I'm not gonna have any time to make art for those deadlines. I hope the contest and the ensuing book are a big success for you! I'll try to check back and see the winners; I bet they'll make some badass pictures.
