# About me

Hi there!

My name is Olivia and I am an 21 year old from Auckland, New Zealand. I was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome when I was in my early teens and so can seem a bit odd at first glance but I'm a friendly, caring person trying to fit in as much as I can :)

I am an amateur artist specialising in drawing animals and native wildlife with graphite and coloured pencil. I have also painted a bit in the past and am continuing to develop my own painting style. My two passions in life are creating art and working with animals.

Owning several species of pets myself, I am always around animals at one time or another and always have inspiration to draw.
Currently I share my home with a lab Angel, three cats named Cleo, Lucy and Jet, a red-eared turtle named Squirtle, my blue tongue skink Mojo and two blackmoor goldfish.

I take commissions drawing pictures of peoples pets and have begun to start up a small business out of my hobby. I am also beginning to experiment in photography am eager to upload some recent photos and receive feedback from others on DeviantArt.

Thanks. I got out of my Japanese exam and heard on the radio on the way home that there was a second explosion. I got home and drew this. Yeah, all those men. I don't think there will be any bodies to recover, if they ever try.

I know, it's so sad. The bodies would have disappeared by the time they retrieve them - if they ever do.

I think it's looking pretty doubtful at this stage about recovery efforts what with the receivership and all. Plus, that fire burned for ages and the coal seam was on fire and that's where the bodies were so there'll probably be nothing left. =( (Sad)
