Racheal and I stopped working on ED, in favour of working on a smaller easier project. But even that's on hold now that she went back to school. The plan is to finish that up when she's finished school this May. We'll see what happens from there, I'd still love to finish Ethereal Dreams some day. *starry eyes*

Am I the only one in the family who has no interest in it? asdkfjsdahfkj I'm surprised Mira hasn't come to me "MAKIO DRAWS HOMESTUCK FANART OMG" yet... She is obsessed and it scares me. Well, Homestuck scares me but whatever. it's not exactly Homestuck that scares me, it's the fandom. Which is more terrifying than the Hetalia fanom, in my opinion.

In all seriousness though, the fans I met at the convention here were so lovely, wonderful and fun to talk to that--I'm not sure where all the bad rep is coming from. I mean, I guess they were a little loud at times, but they flocked to ~Alystar and my table at artist alley a lot, and they were just so enthusiastic and fun. I've never received so many high fives in my life! lol
So, I've never really met the terrifying side of the fandom. Maybe I don't lurk in the right corners of the internet, but as far as I've seen it's a pretty cool (and talented) group of people. I don't think I've ever been in a fandom large enough to have a full ensemble percussion band cover one of the songs or a group of programmers program the chat log system that exists in the story.

Well, I got dragged to a Homestuck photoshoot at Otakon s0.... @____@;; It was slightly terrifying. The cosplays were amazing though. *^*

I suppose a whole lot of them....at a con that big...all at once might be frightening.
