Ofcourse I remember you! Why did you moved to Limburg? How is it going?? Its quite a big move when you go from Japan to the Netherlands :p (Lick) .

I live from mon-fri in Groningen (northern part of the Netherlands so quite far away...) and in the weekend I live at my parents home close to Zwolle.

Windesheim , zag je bericht in de fb IPO sketching groep en zag dat je ook DA had. Je digitale tekeningen zijn erg mooi dus waarom ook niet een mede IPO-er volgen :) (Smile)

Thats too bad.. I was able to choose all the science/biology related subjects and economics. (I failed SO much at German, French and Spanish haha)

Yes, we also have 6 different levels of highschool. All levels give access to a certain follow education. The highest level gives you acces to the university and the lowest to something like a simple 2-3 year course. The level of highschool is decided in middleschool.

All I know is:
-Primary School: From grade 1 to 6
-Secondary School: From grade 7 to 9
-High school: From grade 10 to 12
That's it :/

Here we have:
Primary school: grade 1 to 8 -> in the last year a test to see what level you can handle
Highschool:
VMBO KBL, BBL, TL (from low to high) 4 years or
HAVO (higher secundary education) 5 years or
VWO (pre-university education) 6 years

It gives every child the right level of education which stimulates them more. A less smarter child is not happy when the subjects are too difficult for them so they will follow the subjects on a lower level. The same goes for the smart kid that wants more difficulty. Not everyone can go to university like in the USA or something. Its protected and all the uni's are giving a same level of difficulty.
