You've such amazing illustrations. I thought that you must be using thousands of layers in Adobe Illustrator but then, I saw Painter, which makes it all easier.

Ah, I really don't know how to use vectors ^^U
But I think it doesn't matter which software you use. You'll most likely get the same results with all of them (PS, Painter, Sai, SketchbookPro... ).

I started to take an Adobe Illustrator class as a part of my degree and unfortunately had to drop it for a later time.
The instructor showed us photo-realistic vector drawings he'd done with hundreds of layers in Adobe Illustrator. They were impressive.
I had enough trouble with the simpler parts of illustration using a mouse in the classroom.
I'd used Painter's less fortunate cousin, Dabbler, years ago when Fractal Design owned them both. It was quite astonishing how easy it was to imitate real life tools and media.
