Hey there. Sorry for the slow reply, I don't get notifications 'bout general comments. Anyhow, the line work has taken many years to get the hang of... it wasn't until I started to really experiment in Flash that I got the technique I like. Using the Wacom and Flash lets me get some real brush-like form. You can see the difference in my earlier comics. ;) (Wink)

Well, it's the whole point of Deviant Art, right? I enjoy a variety of artistic styles. While I don't dislike anime, I do dislike how saturated the market has become so anime styles don't attract my attention unless the style is altered to be more unique. (IE, the heads are no longer interchangable) So when I see good styles that aren't anime, it gets a watch pretty darn quick.

('course, the other reason why I like DA is to get comments on my art. My works don't get very many comments though)

Unfortunately, my college is currently dealing with a strike. Thankfully I'm on co-op, so apparently I will not be as directly affected by it as my fellow students. However, since I get paid for the two comic strips that get published in the college paper, I've essentially lost my only source of income for the time beng. My co-op job has issues and I'm not sure about payment from it.

Finally MADE time to do some new artwork. I'm supposed to be getting the next Super Temps strip ready, but it's sketched and I figured I could use a break in my routine. Between my co-op job, my two weekly comic strips, and webmastering time really flies! And I always try to train myself to do "What I'm supposed to do".

Well, tonight I decided what I was supposed to do was sketch. For me. (Not that I basically don't do the strips for myself, but I also get paid for them as they're in my college paper!)

On the note of the flames... I try to ignore emotional rants peppered with vulgarity. What I found funny was the fact that the artist herself was quite polite about the whole thing. Well, those two are loyal if nothing else, eh?
