Yeah many of his subjects aren't thrilled that he spends so much capital on his wardrobe, and they are displeased with him for ignoring his sickly father, the King. (I guess he really just doesn't want to admit to himself that his father is dying and tries to take his mind off of it by distracting himself with fashion--something any fop can sympathize with)
