My holiday was fantastic, I am going to have to sit down and take some time to tell you all about it. Disneyland was everything I hoped for, the kids loved it And the Grand Canyon and Yosemite were breathtaking

Oh good, I'm so glad you had a great trip. Nothing's better than when something huge like Disneyland meets your expectations!!! What were the kids favorite rides? I'm so jealous! I haven't been back since we moved. And I haven't even been to the Grand Canyon! I can't wait to hear about the rest of the trip... I know, finding the free time to tell about it is the hard part lol

Well....the kids loved every ride, as kids do
But my favourite was "pirates of the caribean", I went on it 3 times and even now I miss it. Next would have to be either "splash mountain" or "the haunted mansion". I intend to go again, only next time just me and the hubby we are big kids when it comes to stuff like that.
The Grand Canyon is absolutely amazing, my mum had shown me a million photos of it and of course it looked very pretty. But when I actually saw it for myself....it was breathtaking, I have never seen anything quite like it. And the little chipmunks that live there are adorable.
Another fave thing was Yosemite, what an amazingly beautiful place that is. I could set up a little house and live there quite happily. Oh and the chipmunks hang out there to much to my childrens delight. They arent afraid of people at all, but we where warned not to feed them as not only is it not good for them, but apparently they can chase you

Yeah, I published it. I tell you, holding that book in my hand--omg I was so ecstatic, and terrified at the same time of course. A friend of mine bought a copy and is reading it and so far she is really liking it, so that makes me happy We have talks about how annoying she thinks Finnian is and such. It's great. She hasn't quite gotten halfway yet, but I hope she'll like the second half, too.

Yeah I could write tons more, but maybe put it in an email. I need to send you a copy of the book, too, and I want to sign it, so don't order a copy. You've totally earned a copy gratis. Just tell me where to send it.

I've been on dA so little that I maybe haven't encountered all the sucky parts. The "Messages" page loads slowly on my machine, but I do like being able to answer comments and such right from that one page without having to jump all over... ah well. Who really cares?

Is Sev still hanging around? Probably because I've been so busy, he's getting so annoying.

Did you get the book? I put it in the mail. I'm working on editing number 2, and writing number 3. And ideas are percolating(sp?) for number 4. It's pretty exciting, but I've been feeling burnt out lately--I'm doing too much--so I'm not getting as much done on them as I'd like.

Urg, sorry I'm kinda bummed right now. I just had to write another reply to a comment on that essay I wrote which people still continue to flame about. I guess I'm stubborn for leaving it up, but I just don't want to cave to them. This is America: free speech.
