I am a sucker for little Christmas miniatures! My aunt had a small Christmas town she would set up every year when I was a kid. I was so entranced by it. Would love to try some little scenes with Jabber sometime.
Jabber is about two and a half years old, but he's still relatively small for a crestie. He was the "runt" of his clutch and was bullied by his clutchmates, or so the breeder told me. One of them nipped the end of his tail off just a few days after he hatched, poor little guy. He's fine now of course, eating well and enjoying life, but a tiny guy, around 20 grams. I've been feeding him crickets once a week in addition to his Repashy in an attempt to beef him up a bit. I will try handling him more and see if that chills him out a bit. He's not aggressive or anything, just doesn't like to sit still lol. On the plus side, he is quite an active hand walker!
I love the idea of trying some more "still" still-life scenes, like ornaments or cookies. That's a brilliant idea. Your Halloween photo is amazing! Did you Photoshop Hibiscus into the coffin, or were you able to get the perfect shot of him climbing out of it? Either way it's an impressive feat. Those fangs and eyes really make the piece.

Yes, those Christmas miniatures at Michaels are so adorable! They start getting in their Christmas stuff in August and September so I hope you will have a chance to go. I bet you will come away with some creative ideas for photo shoots with cute little Jabber!
Yeah, that's really Hibiscus emerging from the coffin, I just had my computer friend photo-shop his eyes green and added on the fangs, to make him into a vampire-gecko.

I'll definitely keep an eye out! Always amazes me how soon the stores start stocking holiday things. Seems as soon as fall rolls around they're inundated with merchandise -- all the better for us though; allows for plenty of time to find what we need! And I have to say the Photoshop work really compliments the pose. Props to you for a job well done!
