Uuurgh collections. Ahahaha. They're a relatively new feature in terms of dA. It's basically a favorite, but it's organized into a folder in your favorites. Like you could have a folder for say "courage the cowardly dog" comprised of fanart from that show. I don't use them very much personally so I dont know a lot but the main thing you need to know is it's just like a fav.

Yeah usually if someone "collects" one of my pieces I just say thanks for the fav. It's all up to you really.
