One of my friends from art school (she was in computer animation and I was in illustration) is now a character animator at Pixar. She just finished up post-production on Brave and she's also done work on Toy Story 3, Cars 2, and pre-production work on the Monsters, Inc. prequel, Monsters University. You can find her in the credits as Catherine Hicks, and I recommend you check out her website [link] as well to look at her portfolio and demo reel.
It takes a hell of a lot of work to even get an internship at Pixar let alone a full time job. If you really do want to work there then absolutely, more power to you. Just know that you've got a LOT of work ahead of you in order to do so, and copying, tracing, and stealing artwork won't get you there. Tracing and copying will only stagnate your artistic development, and even computer animators still have to be skilled in traditional drawing.
I started seriously working on my stuff when I was 12, so at 13 you're still at a prime age to get going on it. Draw every single day, even if it's just doodles out of your own head. Draw your pet. Draw objects around your house. Draw everything. I even took a couple drawing classes at the local University of Texas branch my senior year of high school and the work from that class was the bulk of the portfolio that got me accepted to a good art school.
Avoid the Art Institutes chain because they're bullshit schools (which is why they're being sued by the gov't for student loan fraud). Ringling (where my friend and I went) has the number one computer animation program in the country and Pixar comes to recruit graduating seniors every year. In fact, there's been at least one Ringling grad in the credits of every Pixar movie ever made if that tells you anything. CalArts is another excellent school for animators. RISD and Pratt are two more good art schools.
Try contacting Pixar to see if they have any information packets for teens who want to work for them in the future. I got one from Disney Feature Animation when I was 14 because I had wanted to be a traditional animator before going into illustration, and that's how I found Ringling. Since Pixar is now owned by Disney they might have a similar packet with not only school recommendations but also what they look for in portfolios and potential new animators.
Just let this be a lesson to you about artistic integrity. You can still reset your path and get where you want to go, it will just be a lot of work and will require a lot of dedication. It's not an impossible thing to do, though, trust me.

I've been doing it since I was 9 years old and I have contacted Pixar and they've wrote back. and i don't know why people are saying that i copy and trace other people's work

Yes, because a large animation company is going to let a 9 year old work with them. Bullshit. Do you know how hard it is to get into a company such as Pixar?

Although my opinion doesn't matter...I believe that dA is a place where you can post your artwork and strive to get better through constructive criticism. Some of us think that she copied it, I know her personally and I know for the fact that she would NEVER do that. But, staying fair and unbiased, I need solid proof that she copied the artwork or did not. It's the Internet, I know that things are bound to get out of hand. And, Misty, you don't stink at art. Chase your dreams. You have all the time in the world to find a new paradise in art.

If you looked at the original and hers, you could tell it was blurred out. Also, she had a deviation with the original, and hers (the outlining of the pic) next to it. Hers and the original were exactly the same.

IJustGotBored In reply to CelestialDrake [2012-05-27 23:30:29 +0000 UTC]
It wasn't the same. Please stop saying that it was. It was just an example of what she was trying to achieve in her artwork.

They were. I wasn't the only one who noticed too. Many people did, but you can't see that because she got rid of it.

IJustGotBored In reply to CelestialDrake [2012-05-28 03:02:23 +0000 UTC]
Yes, I can see it, because I'm friends with her over Facebook and she put the pictures on it. Are you talking about the one of the lion cub?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
CelestialDrake In reply to IJustGotBored [2012-05-28 03:03:16 +0000 UTC]
Yea. She had 2 deviations. One with the lines of the cub right next to the original, and then the finished one.

IJustGotBored In reply to CelestialDrake [2012-05-28 03:19:38 +0000 UTC]
Well, if she would have given credit to the first artist, it would have been okay. She altered the picture of the one with the eye and the original, but then she drew if differently. It's not like she took the original picture and just blurred it.

CelestialDrake In reply to IJustGotBored [2012-05-28 03:21:05 +0000 UTC]
Yes, but she didn't and it counts as theft. She doesn't understand that. With the finished pic, she still didn't give credit to the ref, and that is also theft.

No the eyes were a different shape, I was just using it as a reference. YOU HAVE NO PROOF

CelestialDrake In reply to Mistyfoot1000 [2012-05-27 14:42:03 +0000 UTC]
Actually, I did have proof but you deleted it. And if you use a pic for reference, you have to give credit to the original artists, which you did not.
